Q&A Forum: November 2022 (Patreon)

Please ask all of your photography questions during the month of November 2022 using this forum. When replying to a post that is more than three days old it would help me enormously if you start a new discussion thread as it will be easier for me to find your question.

Weekend Questions > I am no longer answering questions at the weekend (so that I can rest and take time for personal shooting) so questions arriving in my Inbox on Saturday and Sunday will be answered on Monday morning. As I am 10 hours ahead of GMT here in Melbourne, Australia, this means that questions asked on Friday from the USA are not arriving with me until Saturday, while questions asked from the USA on Sunday will get a faster response.

PLEASE NOTE > Questions asked via the Patreon Message service will only be answered by my Admin Staff. The current Q&A forum always appears directly below the banner image of the orange Tori Gates in Japan (when using a web browser on a computer).

Forum Image: Captured while testing the new AI Subject Detection at Melbourne Zoo with the A7RV and FE 100-400 G Master. I used my standard Portrait Memory Recall with the Subject Detection switched from Human to Animal, the ISO Auto Min SS raised to 1/500 second and a minus 1-stop exposure compensation (because of the dark background and very bright backlit highlights around the head of the meerkat).
