Hi everyone!

My goal is to reach version 2.0 this week, because right now I need to rest after spending the whole night trying to add and fix everything I want the mod to include... but there is still quite a bit left to do. I want it to be a truly polished track, and right now, all I can think about is sleeping.

However, so you can try out a version in the meantime, here is version 1.7; it’s still missing a lot of things, but it’s already a significant improvement over version 1.5.

Thanks for your support, patience, and feedback. (I have noted down all your suggestions, and they will all be taken into account to fix any errors in the mod... Upon reaching v2.0, you will see them all included/corrected.)

Solid work mate! Can't wait to see 2.0 - will we see the reprofiled final turn?

It’s tricky because I don’t have precise elevation data (LiDAR) to do it accurately, but I’ll run some tests to see if I can solve it another way. Thanks for commenting.

Hi, great work with the track, it's quite literally the closest representation of my country's track there is on the internet, but I have a few comments, the pole for the light at the exit of turn 14 is still missing. Also about the lighting, the circuit is much more well lit at night, due to some renovation works they did before the Bahrain GP. I have some references if you plan on updating it more.

You haven't yet seen the version I'm aiming for this time—version 2.0—which will feature significantly more detail (negative banking on the final turn, many more advertising textures, revised sand and grass areas, and a whole lot more). As for the lighting, I wasn't aware they had updated that as well... I rely on satellite photos: I place the light poles where the real ones are located and then adjust the intensity and settings for each one individually to match reality (without going overboard, so as not to impact game performance). If you have any references to help improve them, they would be welcome—I'm always trying to improve my mods. Thanks for comment!
