Hello explorers, we are determined to grow and we have had the idea of offering two different themes every month.

In this way more people could have the miniatures they want without having to wait months for their option to appear in the survey.

An example would be:

Classic JRPG vol.4 / Against the Shadows vol.2

Half of the miniatures for that month would be from Classic JRPG and the other half from Against the Shadows.

What do you think?

Please vote and leave your comments.

Thanks for the support.

i think Classic JRPG vol.4 / Against the Shadows vol.2 should be more than an exemple^^

I joined for the d&d style stuff and haven't had much interest in the jrpg stuff so anything that offers a bit more variety is good to me!

Love this idea as I love both the D&D stuff and the jrpg stuff <3

At some point, some merchant pointed out, that it's riskier to sell fanart models. I would be ok with one part being always original designs, and another one fanart.

It's been several month with JRPG stuff and that's very "niche" genre, It's the first times I haven't print any monthly minis from you... That's why I think with 2 themes, at least I might find something that suits me.

Chris

Would this mean we get the current average of models spilt amongst the two themes? E.g if there are 20 on average then 10 would be theme 1and the other would be theme 2?

Javier

I think It is a good option. I like jrpg stuff but no so interested in others, so i think It is easier to find miniatures you want.

Honestly, I'd like to see it go even farther. If there were 20 models in a month: 4 sets of 5 models. Grow multiple product lines every month.

I would be good with the split if one was community choice (continue to satisfy all the people that vote for the JRPG stuff I don't care about) and then one was a rotating selection that showed off other stuff the studio did, like Greek fantasy, or simply other stuff I might actually use in my games. Like others here, I joined the Patreon because of the awesome fantasy minis. Specifically, it was the Mythexplorers kickstarter that got me in the door (and looking at the MyMiniFactory page). I have to admit, I have been pretty disappointed.

I like the 50% split ideas, but I do not want a 4th patreon, I already have 2 here and that is enough $$ from me.

Multiple themes means everyone will probably find something that justifies that month's continued subscription. The danger is that if you spread it too thin, there may not be enough critical mass of a particular content to entice newcomers to start subscribing. Shouldn't be a problem with 2 themes of at least a half dozen sculpt, though.

WarjackedsWorkshop

Leaning more towards the two themes especially if it was like a Vs theme. Hoping it'll perk the poses up as well. Detail is still up there though.

Royal Toy

I initially joined for the fantasy sculpts which I truly enjoy. I like the singular theme, as it makes it easy to decide if there are models I will print. If you move to fewer models it may become more difficult to find any that will join my table.

Lucas

Awesome for the merchant tier, more options and for fidelity. Great move.

I think if it's a new theme I would like it to be a solo theme but I don't think I'd mind if it was split themes if both themes were already featured.

I think split theme benefits everyone. Like if October had been half American 80s animation and half early jrpg, I don't think anyone would complain. Especially since there is inevitably some overlap in the nostalgia. Plus it's not like we're losing out on half the minis since we could just have twice as many volumes to get them all in. Say next month is half motu inspired and half dragon quest. The following month could be the starter of a 2 volume Thunder cats while finishing up DQ volume 2. That might even encourage retention as you joined for DQ but you now have half of a cool TC set that you wouldn't mind finishing up. Retaining patrons allows you to grow and we all want that. Because as your resources expand you can afford to bring in help and take some of the management burden off yourself so you can devote more time to producing great sculpts. Also bringing on a terrain or vehicle sculptor to add a Thunder tank or any of the myriad of awesome vehicles we loved in our entertainment back in the day would be great without taking away from the character modeling. I am 100% behind this idea.
