If you haven't already, I strongly recommend viewing this post for context. As mentioned in the recent devlog, part of the plan beginning with the development of Chapter 5 is to implement a "Scene Tracker" that allows patrons a way to see every single time we complete a scene.

Well, this is what I've settled on for the time being. Every time a scene is completed, a heart will be filled in, as shown in the second image. Each heart represents the letters A-Z, which will tie in nicely with the current lettering format we use to label our scenes.

As this is just an example... the official tracker will be posted the moment Ch4 is completed. I hope this will help everyone have more peace of mind and reassurance while we're working, not to mention give you a better idea of where we're at.

Let me know what you think below. Thanks!

A "filled heart" will basically mean that the scene is written, rendered, and coded. By the time the very last heart is full, Alorth will have delivered the last batch of renders for the chapter, and by this point I only need about 6-7 to finish testing and tie everything up. Some scenes are indeed larger than others (varying as much as 20-50 renders), so if one of the hearts is taking a little while, that's likely why. Anyways, this will be a very accurate and easy way to both monitor, and show everyone our progress... and when that final heart lights up, you can expect the update within days. The idea was something easy to understand and not convoluted or overly technical. Of course, I'll also still post progress reports and communicate with you all as well.
