I don't mind having a choice, but its an order of magnitude more difficult to proof something as 'stable'. It's would be best to make a couple unstable releases and have the community choose a stable version for each major release.

Stable just means heavily tested an now known big issues. I'd definitely choose stable over the potential non-qa tested version

Having an option would be the best route for all. But generally speaking, the majority of everyone will always wait longer for a stable release. Thanks for the poll.

I prefer unstable but a minimal QA (SRM, Cloudsave, launcher any game of every platform) should be performed, maybe using any automation integration test...

PutridBeing

I would personally be more willing to wait for a stable release. The only exception would be if you launched your own launcher in the unstable path.

I’m a sicko who craves the roller coaster, but my buddy who isn’t has sworn off EmuDeck like three separate times, and has resorted to manually copying saves in/out of Dropbox. So a choice would accommodate both needs and (maybe) help restore some normies’ trust

Dtricks

Whatever the right balance is for you and not overworking. Don’t put so much on you’re plate that you’re having to manage multiple builds and try to focus on a working product.

n00b Games

Do what's right from a developers standpoint, but a choice between the two is always nice

Richard Sawyer

I was gonna say more options more better but I totally agree with this.

I've prefer being able to pick stable or unstable but I'd like some kind of release notes on the expected issues with the unstable version..for example if SRM breaks it may be OK for me if I don't need to add any new games but if launching all the non Retroarch emulators stop working I would hold off and go for stable.

Shartsintheair

I prefer staple, But I would like people to have an option for unstable.

Aaron Saxton

I prefer stable builds myself but would like people to have the option to test the unstable build too. Let's call it an alpha build. Perhaps they could even supply you with valuable information about bugs or major issues so they can be resolved before they become a beta version available as a "stable" build and then ultimately a public release after some time.
