The poll results are overwhelming, 74% of the votes chose to have the option to have an unstable build so here you go! Let's try this out for a while, see how it goes.

SteamOSSteamRomManager remove cache button -> Delete all your SRM entries within EmuDeck.WindowsGit is no longer a dependency so community created versions of Windows like Tiny11 should be now compatible with EmuDeck and there's no longer any need to open the Windows StoreKnown bugs:Some users seems to get stuck on "Building backend" on Windows, I have been unable to replicate the issue so if either if you have or not this issue please report it in this post in the comments :)

I got the “stuck on backend” issue yesterday and was able to fix it by deleting the backend folder as suggested here. Thank you as always!

I don't know, my update took forever. I left it installing, came back a few hours later and it was still doing something. I closed the window, opened Emudeck, and it got stuck there again. I rolled back to 2.2.18 and it worked fine.

Nice to have the Option! I think Emudeck EA will be much better when you will set one primary focus and develop this until all known bugs and hickups are gone. After this you can start with next cool feature. Please dont misunderstand this - Emudeck ist really great and i thank you for your hard work but in the last weeks there was so many new features and all of them are working but not in every case. Some users are using Emudeck as a quick Install root to play there libraries and when there is trouble in town then they cannot help themselves. This results in more work for you only to bugfixing features which was working some days ago. I will support you also when there are'nt three new Features per month. Best Regards!

Thank you. I have an issue regarding Ryujinx, it doesn't seem to load any games but if I boot Ryujinx not in Steam but via regular desktop, it works. It's says something about failed to initiate app.

I went ahead and updated emu deck and now my steam library doesn’t want to run the games. I’ve tried to press save to steam on SRM but nothing happens

That’s unrelated to the update. Is this in SteamOS with RetroArch games? If that’s the case update everything you have in the Discover store

RPCS3 freezes just upon opening it. It was working fine before my failed attempt to update yesterday. It didn't open before I tried this new built, and it does not open after the new built. I went into Manage Emulators and reset its settings, but it didn't work.

One more time big bugg. I updated and no my SRM is broken no games is launching.. I update the SRM I reset configuration I parse and save and no games are launching in my emudeck windows. So what I have to do now....

Unstable release does not let me get past the building backend. Stable release seems to allow me. This persisted even if I uninstalled and tried reinstalling Emudeck.

had to click "No" to disallow installing Git because I already have Git and it just hangs on the Git installation forever, as well...

unstable has git built in, stable does not. it seems this builtin git has some issues. Can you please send me a DM?
