#SundayRundown Bleach TYBW Part 1 was the Blood Warfare test run introduction Part 2 was the consistent development payback in blood of Separation Part 3 is the Revelations & Twists of Conflict redefining everything we know. BLEACH from here on out is nothing but Absolute Cinema 🙌 The rest of this arc is brought to you by Pierrot Films to put Pierrot back on the map as one of, if not the greatest OG studios of anime. The callback parallel to Aizen & Kisuke’s final conversation when he was getting sealed back in Ep 309 about the Soul King and what Ichibe tells Ichigo at the end of this episode is hauntingly & poetically phenomenal. ‬ ‪And here comes Yhwach who just decides to flip the script and chess board knocking the table out of the way to return the world saw it once was as one.‬ Now while A = Almighty, remember Uryu also has the same Schrift (Letter) of power that Yhwach does, so more on that later on the name of it when it’s revealed. What he did switching Senjumaru’s fabric threads onto her look like what Itachi did to Kurenai with his Tsukuyomi in Naruto, not to mention it’s a also callback to when he one shotted Mayuri and his bankai in Ep 44 back in the soul society arc.‬ Lastly Fun Facts: 1. Ichibe’s Futen Taisatsuryō which translates to "Slaughterous Mausoleum of Halted Reincarnation” is what directly inspired Sakuna’s Malevolent shrine and it’s not even a Bankai which have generally inspired domain expansions from JJK. 2. This is the highest rated part of Bleach TYBW amongst the highest rated anime ever. Bleach is something else… 3. Yhwach regained his Almighty power at the 9 minute mark staying true his prophecy. 4. My username previously was “Xeparator” reflecting the last part, so now “Conflictor” reflects this one. Expect the next unsername to be “Bleach Calaminator” named after the subtitle of the next and final cour/part “The Calamity”

Bleach TYBW Episode 27- “A” Keyword Page 1 Shigarami (“Piercing Entanglement”) “Zanpakuto of the Squad Zero’s ‘Ōorigami’ (Great Weave Guard) Senjumaru Shutara, who at the Soul King’s Palace holds the position of fourth officer and holy guardian of the north that protects the Soul King. When it is released, it changes into a needle, and the target is sewn with a thin thread of spiritual particles that extends infinitely from the needle head to manipulate the object stitched with it. Senjumaru’s Bankai ‘Shatatsu Karagara Shigarami no Tsuji’  (‘Crossing of Sahā's Gate, Kāla's Corpse at the Crossroads of Piercing Entanglements’) A giant loom appears and at the same time as a hug a line of small Torii-like gates with countless swathes of red tanmono fabric, engulfing the space with numerous tapestries and patterned cloth. Depending on the enemies’ personality and characteristics, Senjumaru weaves and imbues an enveloping cloth that counters, seals and/or kills her opponents. Each opponent is engulfed in their own personally crafted cloth. The number and patterns of the fabrics increase or decrease according to the number and characteristics of the enemies. During the defence of the Soul King’s Palace, Senjumaru used her Bankai’s ability ‘Shide no Rokushiki Ukimon no Hata’ (‘Loom of the Six-Colored Floating Patterns of Death’) against the six Quincy Schutzstaffel members. Furthermore, the four Holy Guardians of Squad Zero - Tenjirō Kirinji, Kiriu Hikifune, Ōetsu Nimaiya and Senjumaru Shutara have formed a ‘blood oath seal’ pact that limits the activation of their Bankai with each other's lives, because of the great impact their Bankais have on the three world realms.” Episode 27 Keyword Page 2- Ichibē Hyōsube “He is the defacto head captain of the Squad Zero’s Royal Guard, which protects the Soul King. He is also known as ‘Manako Oshō’ (‘Monk Who Calls the True Name’) of all things. Since the creation of the Soul Society, he has given names to all objects, phenomena and events, and is able to interfere with and influence those he has given names to. His zanpakutō ‘Ichimonji’ (‘Straight Line/One Written Character’), is a sword in the shape of a large calligraphy brush as a literal sword brush, has the power to dominate all the ‘Black’ in the world, and those struck by Ichimonji’s black paint lose their names and have their abilities, characteristics and properties nullified. The release command for Ichimonji is ‘Kuromeyo’ (‘Blacken’). Ichibē activates his Bankai by using an archaic command: ‘Shin’uchi, Shirabuchi Ichimonji’ (‘True Strike, White Brush One Written Character/Straight Line’). It is the first born and evolved zanpakuto’. It inscribes a ‘new name’ on the target object in white ink and applies properties and characteristics of the given name to the target. During the defence of the Soul King’s Palace, Ichibē wrote the name ‘Black Ant’ on Yhwach, rendering him as weak and insignificant as an insect.”

Sunday Rundown! Now, while the recap could potentially be jarring if you were binge watching this, it also makes thematic sense as it wasn't until 9 minutes into the episode where Yuha finally awakens his full power. So, overall it's 900 years(to regain his heart), 90 years(his intellect), 9 years(his power), 9 days(the world) and now 9 minutes(his eyes). It's a fun little thing the anime production did to offset how much of this episode was essentially repeating things we already knew. What a complete turnaround too, every single squad zero member is out of this battle now. In the manga, all we got were panels of them being slumped after Yuha beat Ichibei. By far, one of the biggest disappointments in the series, if not the most. That's kinda the issue of having these characters, they're there to be beaten because the story won't be able to advance if they win. At least the anime gave them all something to do this time, Hikifune probably got the short end of the stick though. The others defo got more moments in the spotlight. Not to mention, it is a much better explanation as to why they all couldn't go all out, which is also kinda bs but we'll allow it. Just like how it was kinda bs for Senjumaru to die due to one arrow when we know she's got revival skills at her fingertips(which she used on Nimaiya). Fuck it though we gotta move on and let Kubo cook. Speaking of which, he recently reacted to Megan Thee Stallion's Yoruichi cosplay on Klub Outside and thought "it was totally over-the-top and awesome. Even the nails were wild and fun". You guys have probably already seen it, but if not, she posted it on Insta.

#SundayRundown Bleach This episode is so different to the source material is almost baffling. First, all of the squad 0 fight happens off screen and when we return they’re already dead so it was hated by the readers; second, Uryu vs Senjumaru is completely anime original and him killing her is a massive achievement and a feat of strength. A thing to notice is how Uryu wins, first he activates what seems to be an incomplete Volstandig, something he did not posses in the manga at all, then he appears to swap places with Senjumaru out of nowhere. Also if you remember Yuha swap places with the medallion and the camera panned to Uryu being mysterious. Regarding the opening, mostly it contains teasers or confirmations to things you already called out but it has 3 scenes that are complete spoilers or heavy-handed hints that you would not be able to ignore and ruined the surprise, so watch at your own risk. In my opinion you can watch it after episode 11/37. Also regarding cour 4, at this point it seems it will either air at the end of 2025 or until 2026, so it’s safe to post 2 episodes per week since you won’t catch up with it anyways.

ecko91

Btw ep # 27 uncut volume is super super low compared to the pervious ep.

SBR Calaminator

Cour 4 is most definitely not 2025 at all whatsoever. The earliest is more like spring or summer of 2026 as they only just started the actual production at the end of March. And as great as it would be for them to post 2 Eps a week, they’ll finish it like this by no later than September 10th (coincidentally and exactly 9 months after they started TYBW) so there’s really no rush at all.

Keep it low. I don't want English interrupting my Japanese stream.

It's fun that the state of the Soul King, being just a torso in a crystal, was forshadowed during Aizen's defeat when he referred to the Soul King as "That Thing" during his rant.

Annah Suarez-Domit

Ishida actually kind of did something similar earlier to when he trapped Senjumaru in the thread he was trapped in. When Yhwach escaped the tree cage he switched places with a thrown rock and the camera then cut to Ishida who's eyes did the glitching thing that they were doing this episode.

Castiel_01x

Corrections: Uryu did not get a simple power-up. He is seen to have switched places with Senjumaru completely, which is a whole different thing. And we've seen something like that happen before when Yhwach threw the medallion that had Yamamoto's Bankai to get out of Hikifune's cage by switching places with it, so it was also not a power-up he got just now, it's something that he always had assuming that was Uryu's doing as well.

We need the same betting system from Yu Yu for this show!

Appreciate yall for watching the OP anyway and ignoring those delusional clowns who told you to skip it. 🙏 Skipping OP3 is honestly a crime.

#SundayRundown #BLEACH I was wondering if they were going to translate an entire song into English, and have Aaron LaPlante sing it. Guess not. 😂 Apart from how much extra work that would be, it's SUCH a specifically Japanese performance that it'd be incredibly hard to localize in a way that makes sense. Completely understandable decision, and I'm glad y'all get to hear Naomi Kusumi's magical performance. Speaking of which... The song, dance, drink, etc., are obviously meant to evoke shinto ceremonies from days of yore, but I had a lore-based interpretation when I saw it. Ichibei is the originator of the "bankai", and uses "secret hado" techniques beyond what any other character uses after-all. So remember how, in order for a spell to be super effective, you recite a long string of poetry before letting it loose? Ichibei has the OG form of that, where he must do an entire theatrical performance to unleash his attack. 😁

Ichibes last ditch effort to kill yhwach - that chant - was basically to delete yhwach from existence and remove him from the cycle of rebirth you can gather this if you read the actual lyrics. Kind of crazy and looked super cool. I was super curious how they were gonna handle this part in English but im very glad they kept it in Japanese. It fits way better and even has that more mystical power vibe because of it.

lol gg

Wait till you hear senjimaru's real power

Masked Void

[Tidbits] - A cool thing the production did was use the recap to play into the "Kaiser Gesang" or the Hymn of the Quincy King, it goes: The confined Quincy King regains his pulse after 900 years. His mind after 90 years. His strength after 9 years. And the world in 9 days. So what they did was have the moment happen 9 minutes into this episode - Uryu won using a technique that seemingly altered his position or circumstance with his Enemy, we saw a similar thing occur in the last season when Yhwach swapped places with the medallion to escape the cage. We can also assume Uryu's ability must be quite strong given that he's also "A" we just don't know what his "A" stands for yet (but the story is giving hints) - Ichibei obviously shares visual ties with Buddhist monks. Buddha reached Enlightenment through suffering. Enlightenment allows for a person to ascend beyond the cycle of life and rebirth. I find this fascinating in that Ichibei's technique was meant to remove Yhwach from the cycle, yet he views/uses it as a means of punishment. (It's almost as if he's somewhat of a perversion of what the Buddha is meant to be) - Just a note for anyone confused. Yhwach's power "A The Almighty" makes it so that anything he sees he will "know" and any power he "knows" will become his ally. Those powers cannot be used to defeat or harm Yhwach, which is why he easily beats Ichibei. This power is especially dangerous when you factor in that he can see into the future as well. - Sidenote: In Buddhism it is implied that a Buddha has a limitless life span, I presume Kubo merged this concept with the idea of names so that as long as there are those who know Ichibei he will never truly die. - There are unique circumstances revolving around the 0 Squad and life/death which isn't revealed untill later using light novels (I wont say what because it may be added to the anime) - Sidenote 2: The voice actor for Uryu let us know that we may want to view this episode a few times over and pay attention to what Uryu is doing. (I presume that has some implications as to something unique or special going on with Uryu and his powers/Like what happened with that drop of blood or his eyes turning Red?) - Sidenote 3: Ichibei said, "I don't need you to kill him" fans should definitely question why? and best believe you'll get an answer.

#SundayRundown Now i can say that each of Ichigo's main antagonists (except Byakuya in the Soul Society arc) all affect a different facet of time, which i think is cool. Tsukishima - Uses his Book of the End to affect the PAST and insert himself into it etc (some people may argue Ginjo is the main antagonist of the Fullbring arc but i disagree, he was just the end twist villain, Tsuki was the guy fucking with Ichigo for most of the arc lol). Aizen - Uses Kyoka Suigetsu to affect what you're seeing, hearing, smelling etc in real time in the PRESENT. Yhwach - Can use The Almighty to see into the FUTURE. I'll leave it at that, as it gets explained more later. Also, it's absolutely hilarious that Ichibe stole 100 nights from the future. Imagine being a Soul Reaper 100 years from now and you randomly get 100 nights in a row without any nightfall lmfaooo. And it didn't even kill Yhwach! Bro took my nights away for nothing! (Also, i wonder what other series was inspired by this Ichibe move in particular....maybe a series with domains that expand or something idk).

Heat Pack

That was just a button not the medallion

Jon

really wish you guys didn’t lower the shows audio so much :/

Castiel_01x

Why would a random button be shown again?

Phil

@Kali Andrews There's no major spoilers in the OP you tool.

SUNDAY RUNDOWN (Quick Notes) - Ywach "opens his eyes" exactly 9 mins into the episode - Ishibe's song and dance is theorized to be a primordial version of Kido Poetry chants - Ishida switched places with Senjumaru, trapping her within her own Bankai. -Apology for Rukia Bankai misunderstanding when? -Love this channel and you all have beautiful hair.

#SundayRundown Bleach TYBW Hey guys, what a great episode and incredible way to kick off Cour 3. I love this 4 episode battle between Yuha's forces and Squad 0 because of the way it shifts the focus and makes the Quincy the underdogs for a change, fighting an uphill battle against the absolutely broken Squad 0 members, who are the closest things to gods in this universe. The fact that the episode is entitled "A" and the 2 who turn the tide of the battle and deal the decisive final blows against their Squad 0 counterparts both have a shrift starting with A is poetic and tragic all at the same time. In a way, it is satisfying to see the relatively young upstart prince Yhwach get one over on Ichibei, who had sealed Ywach's Almighty Future Sight power a Thousand Years ago in that flashback we saw at the end of Cour 2. In a way, the Quincies were the underdog protagonists of those last 4 episodes, and had to fight hard to achieve their ultimate objective. Also, keep in mind that Ywach and Uryu being the same letter appears to indicate that they have both awakened to their true power at the same time, and were both able to win their battles due to that awakening. Ywach, who had his "Almighty" ability explained by Jugram as being the ability to see the future, manipulate the outcomes that he sees, and be more-or-less invulnerable against any ability that he is able to foresee and understand. It basically makes him omniscient, or all-knowing, which is one of the primary traits of the god he is named for. However, Uryu's ability has yet to be explained, and that is on purpose. We are not meant to understand exactly how he turned the tables against Senjumaru, but considering the title of episode is "A", it is heavily implied that he used his Schrift as well. Keep in mind that despite having the same letter, his actual ability might not be the same as Yuha's. All we know is that one moment Senjumaru had him wrapped in cloth, and the next moment she is the one wrapped in the same cloth. Just like some of the other Schrifts we have seen (like As Nodt's "Fear" and Gremmy's "Imagination"), it is safe to say that whatever the "A" ability Uryu awakened by drinking Ywach's blood must be pretty damn busted.

You're not supposed to know about uryuu

on twitter, sensei kubo draws all the people that dies. he got portraits for every since the start of TYBW

i would get rid of your headphones.... Your all less animated in your reactions. Just sounds like a podcast watching

Twisted IceCream

So, the thing about Ichibei, is that he is actually a Primordial Being. He is older than even the very concepts of life and death, and is one of the oldest existences in all of Bleach. He is even older than the Soul King.
