Looks like we get Askin and his inspiration today.

Meh

The guy Hiei is fighting has "momotaro" in his name. Don't know the full story but it's a super well known folk tail in Japan. General details I know of are a mystery child found floating down a river in a peach. kinda goes the Superman route where he's taken in by like a fisherman couple, develops super powers growing up and protects people from the supernatural through out his life. Probably not wrong to call him like a legendary demon slayer, so that's the basis of why the Ogre was scared of those peaches on his belt.

For when the title shows during the episode itself it always plays that very noticeable audio cue before the title actually starts forming it kinda does a fade in thing so if you look away right when you hear that you should be good as long as you don't open or look back at the screen too soon

#SundayRundown #YuYuHakusho Justin Cook is the incredible voice-actor behind Yusuke and SEVERAL other characters, including Kuro Momotaro; Hiei's opponent this episode. Y'know how you have those random memories that just stick with you forever, even though they're completely unimportant? For some reason, Momotaro screaming "tHE aRmOR oF tHe pHOeNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIX!!!" has been permanently etched into my brain ever since hearing it the first time. 😂

also, its the same voice of super buu. that screech in the phoenix armor reminds me of when buuhan tried to rip through dimensions

Yusuke's absolutely funniest dub line is in about 31 episodes...

Dale Cooper

The tale of Momotaro involves the dog, the monkey and the pheasant. The "spades" are upside down peaches. Momotaro also defeated the Ogres of Ogre Island. Basically the whole thing is a parody of Japanse folklore.

#SundayRundown Thank yall for listening and not reading the episode titles moving forward! We are being heard 😭 Any chance for the following episodes yall can double upload? Episode 61 & 62 Episode 63 & 64 Episode 65 & 66 One of my favorite reactors (besides yall) double uploaded these episodes and watched them back to back and I think it really made them enjoy the show/experience even more! Thanks yall! They literally uploaded one time with both episodes and honestly, it was the best decision they made (along with not reading episode titles) Have a great weekend
