More anime? Or how else does it make sense, seems random.

Jamaal Ellison

Oh, thank Christ It's just YouTube I was afraid This was gonna be another patreon I would have to subscribe to.

HouseDogget

Nothing wrong with a lil organization

Acesoldia

Interesting idea. Subscribed!

Balmung

One piece when?

SBR Calaminator

Their main channel will be for live action and now their new channel will be for anime exclusively.

Phil

In 2 weeks

Alex M

Love the banner being old Bleach logo inspired <3

Jesse Vincente

I get that but they're only watching like 2 or 3 anime rn so idk how that can carry a whole channel. Maybe they're actually planning to start OP or something lol 'cause otherwise I don't get it.

Erik D

Nice! I appreciate siloing off the cartoons.

Zeee

I don’t think this is a good idea guys. I feel like there’s way more cons than pros to this. Feel like you should just keep the format you have now. Other reactors have tried this and it didn’t work out long term. Anime fans are very fickle. A lot leave the channel once the show they like is completed. Obviously your analytics could easily prove me wrong but I feel like it’s sending people to more than one place vs one contained spot.

MarcusDiggler

Does this mean more current anime? To be hero x, call of the night, and so many other good anime’s going on now and with varying genres. Hopefully we don’t just get copious amounts of one piece

Bob

You guys have only made watching your content harder and more annoying through the years. I hope you stop with the website and just go back to patreon

Balmung

Thank you so much, smo-yan. I seriously couldn't find that anywhere. Nika bless your smokey self

Fatoumata Diallo

Agree, exactly. I don’t think a lot of people will subscribe to many new channels

Zeee

Again, I’m sure they have more info than me, it’s their channel. But I feel like it would just dilute their main channel which should be the priority. Esp when they’re not crazy far from 1M.

WestBound

How to kill your channel 101

WestBound

In the history of YT channels doing this iv rarely seen it work

WestBound

Main channel about to RIP

Jesse Gerrits

i think yourll reverse this in a year like dead meat did with moving their podcasts to a seperate channel and then having to reverse it when it hurt the main channel

Zeee

RTTV tried and it failed badly.

Michael Daw

As long as it doesn’t mean a separate Patreon subscription, I don’t care.

Settsu

appreciate if you could spell so I could understand

Fatoumata Diallo

Right. Had to unsubscribe from their channel this year. Quality just went down

Shockzz1234

Those anime copyright strikes be kicking your ass on the main channel huh?

TkOHarley Museum

I feel like people are being overly negative here. I don't see how having an anime focused channel hurts my experience as a viewer, so long as Patreon remains the same. The Normies themselves will be the ones to see if it hurts their main channel, but I don't think it will. Or at least, the anime only's will continue to provide the same attention they do already. So good luck Normies!

Zeee

Every other channel who’ve tried this has ultimately failed and ended up hurting both. It’s not being negative, it’s more caution/warning.

Zeee

+ anime fans rarely as loyal to the channel. they’re loyal to the show. Once the Normies are done, those people, 8 times outta 10, are gone with it.

Paradoxhamartia

I feel like you're misunderstanding. The general skepticism doesn't come from a place of "I can't be bothered with the idea of dealing with a second channel", but rather "I've seen this done a whole bunch of times, and not a single one ended up positively". I really hope this works out for them, but I wouldn't be betting any money on it. Hopefully I'll be proved wrong tho.

Zach Hershman

I have a feeling that the threat of losing the channel to anime copyright strikes far outweighs any cons you can come up with.

JevCor

.....

Johnny Blue

Being constantly 1 copyright strike away from automatic channel deletion will do that. It's no way to live when you have bills to pay for 10+ full time employees not including editors.

BT

Anime/YouTube is getting more aggressive with copyright. Make sense.

KingRath

Blind wave with the extra Star Wars channel seems to be working out but it is odd to do it for all anime
