Enjoy TLC Match Edge+Christian vs The Hardyz vs The Dudleyz | SummerSlam (2000) - Group Reaction and Uncut!!

Uncut: https://thenormies.com/wwe-content/

Edited reaction is in the thumbnail above!!

Hey Normie Wrestlies, your comments/feedback are not going unheard. We are elated at the fact that so many of you love the wrestling reactions and it's definitely something we want to put more time/energy into going forward. Right now, the girls have about an hour or 2 blocked each week to watch wrestling. Finding matches for them to watch can be tough when we don't always have the time to put together those awesome packages that Suraj/Spencer work on to help build up the story moments before each match. We want to communicate with you our current plans for how we want to tackle Wrestling stuff moving forward!Every month we are aiming to have at least 4 matches (we're typically able to record more but it depends on match type i.e. Royal Rumbles)

1 current event WWE match so the girls can keep up with at least 1 ongoing storyline

1 classic/Attitude Era match

1 match that has a more 'produced' mini-doc with edited in segments to help build storylines

1 match that is put to a poll of match suggestions from Sunday Rundown comments, or special events or AEW matches.

We understand some people's frustrations with AEW content. The truth is, they have reached out to us and offered to allow us to film professionally during their live events here in Indy as well as offering us free PPV matches that the girls are interested in reacting to. We want to maintain this partnership, as it's something WWE would never agree to let us do. We think it's pretty rad that AEW is wiling to work with us on these. They loved our Toni Storm videos and other AEW reacts we have put out so far. (It doesn't hurt that we're total sickos too) Expect the polls and this format to start officially in November. Thank you for your patience and continued support!

Sincerely,Paul "Spencer" LevesqueDwayne "Suraj" Johnson

Im Glade you guys didn't feel bad for that hoe lita ( i absolutely despise cheaters and think there're horrible people). She cheated on her boyfriend Matt Hardy with edge😡. She totally deserved anything she got in that match.

Shelma32

That's awesome about the AEW 'partnership' :)

VenturaInTheBaja

Are you all watching Halloween Havoc!? I need the girls to meet Sol Ruca in person… she’s the best athlete in female wrestling by far.

VenturaInTheBaja

Try to have them react to The Rocks most hilarious moments… his one liners are glorious

GodUsopp

finally some real wrasling

Just Dan

I can't wait to see your reaction to TLC II.

C. Fushiguro

We need TLC 2 next! Then TLC No Scrubs reaction!

Shockzz1234

That AEW collab news is actually awesome. Congrats on that! Also i really like this schedule. Helps things feel more structured rather than just random videos being thrown out lol.

tsujoi

That aew partnership, very cool. Looking forward to those

Martin O'Dwyer

Really awesome to hear AEW not only approved of your reactions but offered free tickets and to record at PPVs. The new format sounds great too really enjoying the wrestling content on here and I can't wait for the ladies to see their first Darby Allen match

Dante Sparda

People seem to forget that Edge was also married at the time and that Matt had affairs too, but they were one night stands compare to Edge and Lita having a secret relationship. They’ve all moved on from the situation.

Zeee

Since you guys did so many Royal Rumbles with the women, I would love to see some with the men! Some obvious random choices that y’all can select from : the most recent one; 2025, 2023, 2020, 2018, 2005, 2001 2009 or 2008

Zeee

The AEW partnership is cool, congrats!

Kage Uzumaki

where are they watching it from

Zeee

I had this PPV on DVD as a kid lmao

COREY Ervin Scott-Johnson

Yes! We need more from this era of WWF/WWE. Just to see how far they have come. Also, Lita was one of the best wrestlers WWF/WWE had.

Adam Vialpando

2000 Rumble was great too. And you can't have a list of the best Rumbles and neglect to include 1992.

Zeee

I thought about that but I wanted to do one where they atleast knew a portion of people. 1992 might be too far back for them.

Adam Vialpando

I think if we are talking about classic matches one that is absolutely crucial is Macho Man Randy Savage vs 'The Dragon' Ricky Steamboat at WrestleMania III. It was the first time a match with so much athleticism was put on a grand stage. Usually the big matches were all about big personalities and gimmicks. I don't know of any video packages about the storyline but the channel 'Wrestling Bios' has a full video talking about the storyline and what the match meant in the grand scheme. In fact if you want a great list of classic matches he has some amazing in-depth videos about some absolute bangers.

Adam Vialpando

Some other choices that he has videos on are The Rock vs HHH at SummerSlam 1998, Bret Hart vs British Bulldog at SummerSlam 1992, and Eddie Guerrero vs Brock Lesnar at No Way Out 2004.

Sean Carleton

I LOVED this when I was a kid. But I think it was a mistake, in hindsight. Spinal surgeries and other injuries have been on the rise since these matches gained popularity.

Nascir Dotson

Elimination Chamber from Survivor Series 2002 is a classic

SunnydaleClassof99

Congrats on the AEW deal. That's fantastic. It's always great to see when a company is willing to interact with their fans & the community that supports them. AEW has been such a breath of fresh air following the almost two decades since WCW closed.

SunnydaleClassof99

"It was the first time a match with so much athleticism was put on a grand stage." For the United States? Absolutely. It's reputation is well deserved. Mexico & Japan regularly had matches on this level with massive crowds for years. It took a while before the states were able to catch up & this match definitely had something to do with it.

SunnydaleClassof99

I'd love to see a long form video on Eddie Kingston. Something that chronicled his indie career leading up to the ROH World Championship: against 2023, Claudio Castagnoli at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam 2023. It doesn't have to be three parts like the Toni Storm video. I think you could get a good context of him as a wrestler in one video. To me he's about as pro wrestling as you get. He's also one of the few modern wrestlers the doesn't seem like a character. What you see on-screen is the real him.

Adam Vialpando

Very true, I should have specified that. This match set a standard in the states and made fans see what these guys were truly capable of.

Adam Vialpando

Very true. It's truly a double-edged sword. On the one hand stuff like this is amazing to watch and leaves you in awe. But on the other hand these guys are risking their well-being and are permanently damaged. Many of these wrestlers can barely feel their limbs anymore.

SunnydaleClassof99

It's all good. Thanks for indulging me being pedantic.

MajinVegeta420

YOU WERE ALL WHAT IN 2000???? JESUS RANA CHILL!!! lol <3

MajinVegeta420

growing up with this era was so satisfying era was peak. And that's the bottom line CAUSE STONE COLD SAID SO!!!

SunnydaleClassof99

You've only just begun to scratch the surface of just how great pro wrestling can be. There's so much stuff I'd love to see you try: Classic Joshi from AJW's glory years, the King's Road Style of AJPW, lucha libre trios from CMLL, the beginning of Lucharesu in Michinoku Pro, the golden age of indie wrestling In the early 2000s & I could go on for ages. I know a lot of that is a pipe dream. I understand WWE dominates the online conversation. Still I'm excited to follow you on your journey especially as you branch out & experience new things.

Nicholas Cain Jr

Guys the AEW partnership is huge and definitely a win for the channel and the brand of pro wrestling don’t let haters knock it. I’m glad you all found a love for the sport! I love the reactions

Shockzz1234

The talk of TNA and the Hardy Boyz etc got me thinking about something - i know you have a LOT on your plate already so no biggie if this never happens or you don't want to do it or can't find time etc, but i'd highly recommend a reaction to the TNA Unbreakable 2005 Triple Threat match of AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels vs Samoa Joe. Widely regarded as the best TNA match of all time and one of, it not THE, best triple threat match of all time. Even if this is literally the ONLY thing you ever react to from TNA it'd be worth it, again i know you have a lot of stuff to do already with WWE and AEW but might be worth checking it out if you have the time, maybe a poll option? Anyway nice to see their first reactions to the craziness that is the Hardy Boyz lmaooo. I mean all six of the men involved in this are crazy too but those two are on another level. Also back then when head shots were allowed with chairs...glad they did away with that, as awesome as they looked. Sidenote, it's kinda funny watching Edge spear Lita knowing future stuff lol.

Alvin Everett

You guys should go over Triple H vs Shawn Michaels at SummerSlam 2002, Randy Orton vs Cactus Jack at Backlash 2004, Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels at Badd Blood 1997, Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 25 & 26, Bret Hart vs Stone Cold at WrestleMania 13, The Hardys vs The Dudleys vs Edge & Christian at WrestleMania 17, Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 12, Undertaker vs Triple H at WrestleMania 27 & 28, Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 21, AJ Styles vs John Cena at SummerSlam 2016, Triple H vs Batista at Vengeance 2005, Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31, Seth Rollins vs John Cena at SummerSlam 2015, John Cena vs Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 23, John Cena vs Shawn Michaels on RAW 2007, Randy Orton vs John Cena at Bragging Rights 2009

SunnydaleClassof99

Another good video would be on the rise of Orange Cassidy. You could add his time on the northeastern indie scene to give a fuller picture on just how far he came. The video could culminate with his match at AEW Revolution 2020 against PAC.

SunnydaleClassof99

Yeah I was a bit taken aback when I saw what they said above.

VenturaInTheBaja

Would be interesting to see how many views wrestling reactions are getting compared to you avg views on a video. Are they more or less popular, etc?

Bobby Mitchell

Just like y’all I was 10 years old in 2000 as well & I was at that show. It was my first ever live wrestling show & this match was by far the match of the night for me. SummerSlam 2000 took place in Raleigh, NC & The Hardy Boyz are from Cameron, NC which is like a hour south of Raleigh. The only real legit brothers of these 3 teams are the Hardy Boyz. The Dudley Boyz are half brothers (in storyline, & obviously not real brothers 😂) & Edge & Christian are not real brothers, but they have been real life best friends since they were pre teens in Toronto. These 3 teams had more incredible matches that I think you should check out: Hardy Boyz vs. Edge & Christian in the first ever tag team ladder match at No Mercy 1999. The Hardy Boyz vs. The Dudley Boyz in the first ever tag team table match at Royal Rumble 2000. Then all 3 teams met in a match for the first time at WrestleMania 2000 in the first ever triangle ladder match for the WWF Tag Team Championship (that match was basically the precursor to this match at SummerSlam 2000, which was next in the timeline) but then they upped the ante the next year at WrestleMania X-Seven in TLC II for the WWF Tag Team Championship, which was even crazier than this match believe it or not. Side note, Lita is one of the greatest women’s wrestlers in WWE history & a WWE Hall of Famer. She had a legendary feud with Trish Stratus that I think y’all should check out, including them being the first women to main event Monday Night RAW in December 2000 for the WWE Women’s Championship. At that time in 2000 she was dating Matt Hardy & they dated close to 5 years until Matt discovered she cheated on him, ironically with Edge, & they had a big feud in 2005 that I think y’all should check out. Edge vs. Matt Hardy at SummerSlam 2005 & Edge vs. Matt Hardy in a steel cage match at Unforgiven 2005.

Adam Vialpando

True it might be too much right away. But it can still be enjoyable. When I first saw it I think I only knew like 5 people who were involved and still had fun. It actually introduced me to stars I ended up enjoying. This was my first time seeing Kerry Von Eric for example. I think for this match as long as you know who Ric Flair is then it's all good since he is the linchpin.

Zeee

I hear you but they probably won’t care nearly as much without some reference. Attitude Era stuff should be the earliest for them

El hombre

Slow down man, they already have so many recommendations, they cannot even get to yours maybe until next year 😂

El hombre

I grow watching wrestling during this era, but I don’t like going back to some matches because I can now see some mistakes I never noticed before and that ruins it for me, so I’m just gonna watch the edited version😂😂

Rando calrissian

Idk where you got the info that matt had any affairs i just looked it up and nothing mentions he cheated on anybody.

Solebat

#SundayRundown Where's the hashtags?

The Answer

The Lita disrespect SMH

All Mighty Lowercase Jay

I've been watching wrestling since I was 2 so if you want some Ideas i'm gonna need better parameters than this cuz I can pitch some Good, Bad and Ugly stuff that would be fun to watch the girls react too from every company. Honesty maybe show them some ECW Mike Awesome vs Masato Tanaka at ECW one night stand.

2026-09-08 02:00 As great as this match was. Their match at WM17 in Houston was even better. As for the entrances, they aren't typically that short even back in the day. The guys just had a lot to do with little time so they rushed their intros. Also, the reason the camera was moving like crazy during Edge/Christian (The Hanson boyz lol) is because they used to enter from the crowd sometimes so it's kinda like a "where are they? oh there they are" thing.

Agreed, if not at least react to a TNA knockouts match like Trinity (aka Naomi) vs Mickie James Bound for Glory 2022 or the Texas Deathmatch between Mickie and Deonna Purrazzo.

Adam Coleman

- The Jeff hardy hate will not be tolerated 🤣 He’s the goat and now that I think of it no one dyed their hair with those colours and pulled it off before him 🔥 - Now that I’ve watched it again I admire how live the crowd was 🔥 - Yes they hurt each other like crazy but it was for the sake of those titles which shows how prestigious they are and the passion behind the art 🔥🔥🔥 - The crowd definitely got their moneys worth 💯🤣 - The Lita hate will also not be tolerated she’s your favourite women’s wrestlers favourite women’s wrestler 😂🔥 One of the pioneers of the women’s division 💪 - The storytelling in this was absolutely fire 🔥 they didn’t have to put their bodies at risk but they did it for the tag team titles and you can see no matter who the fans wanted to win they loved the match that much they respected who came out on top in the end ❤️ - Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler are also a W 🔥 THATS PASSION 😮‍💨

Reggie Riobe

this was a great reaction. one match suggestion that make is The first ever Elimination Chamber match at Survivor Series 2002 for the world Heavyweight Championship - Including Triple H ( Champion) - Shawn Michales ( Return from a 4 year back injury) - Kane - Rob van Dam - Chris Jericho - and Booker T Backstory: Triple H got awarded The Championship, had one on one matches against Kane, RVD and for the belt, cheated to win... Booker T pinned Triple H in a tag match, but before all of that took place,. Triple H faced Shawn Michales in his first match back, loss and hit him in he back with a sledgehammer. This match was a complete classic... No one knew what to expect going into that match, hope you ladies check that match out and enjoy
