Thank you guys for starting to include the horror community more often🔥. There’s so many great ones other than the ones that most people have heard of

Zeee

Nice! Hopefully this means we get horror movies more often

Paradoxhamartia

In your opinion, if two Normies ended up being the ones behind the Scream mask, which couple would it be? I feel like Marketa/Navi would be a fun twist, lol. And I guess Rana could be the final girl? And Suraj could be the bait character played by a famous actor that actually ends up dying first? Yes, these are the kind of questions I ponder over. (btw I was kind of looking forward to y'all halloween costumes... ç_ç)

YouTube is being really shitty right now and not letting me watch this video on the actual YouTube app. I hit “watch on YouTube” and then the app opens but this video doesn’t. Happening for other videos too. Anyone else having this problem?

Sage

Suraj…. Exorcist DEFINITELY holds up. It’s just every single possession movie that’s ever came after it tries to imitate it

Ashleep

So glad The Normies finally are starting the Scream franchise!

Sickleweed

Hi Normies, does this mean for the next 6-7 weeks it will just be Scream for your Saturday movie reactions or will you drop other movie reactions in between?

#SundayRundown I'm of two minds on this film & series. On one hand when it was released it was a fresh/bold take that shook things up & gave horror a mainstream boost. On the other hand it became so massive that it pretty much became the stock style that everyone tried to cash in on. Of course Ghostface was going to come back. Not only is it a meta commentary on horror sequels, it's more importantly a chance to make money. The market also got flooded with pale imitations. Most of them were awful but enough of them were profitable so the cycle continued. It was awhile before fresh voices that weren't covered in layers of irony were able to break through.

Just do more horror movies in general man. I feel like its such an untapped market for reactors. They do a couple movies in october then thats it, so great movies get stacked up for years and are unwatched.

More horror movie reactions! Need The Black Phone 1 & 2 and The Long Walk soon.

Jenna Ortega decided to quit the Scream franchise after they fired Melissa Barrera (the new star of Scream 5 & 6) because she was openly supporting Palestine. Neither of them will be in Scream 7 for that reason. Scream is my favorite franchise but I am not seeing Scream 7 in theaters or purchasing it for that reason. I'm sure it will still do well but that's very lame of the studio to me.

maann when I saw y'all were reacting to this movie through y'all's Instagram stories it made my day lol not only did I grow up watching this but it was my first ever slasher/horror movie to watch

Hindsight 20/20 the movie essentially tells you upfront who the killers are( the opening kill involves knowing Stevie was her boyfriend so it pointing to a high schooler as the killer) then just spends the rest of the movie obfuscating it with bizarre characters until the reveal. Also as an adult I see how many giant windows and doors these houses had and it’s hilarious.

pinkfairy

I just watched this movie for the first time on Halloween this year so this reaction came out in perfect time :D

Navi looks cute in the Ryuko outfit

#SundayRundown I was way too young to be watching Scream when it came out on VHS (Blockbuster video night), and I had a boyhood crush on Drew Barrymore. I thought she was going to be like Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween. All of us '90s and '80s kids were shook when she got it in the opening of the movie. Scream changed and elevated horror forever. The Billy foreshadowing: Creepy horror movie references, Don't Fear the Reaper playing, Billy appearing in Sid's window, his lack of empathy, and his pathetic pleading as he's being arrested: ("SIDNEY! SID!") is blatant on re-watches, but it adds to the rewatchabilty of Scream. The funny thing is, Kenny (the overweight cameraman played by W. Earl Brown) is the best actor in the movie, and he was Emmy-worthy in Deadwood. Post-Barry reactions hit hard when you realize Gene Cousineau is the principal.

Hank Scorpio

That's Barry Zuckerhorn to you

Tony Rogers

He was neither of those yet when this movie came out, but he had been, and always will be Arthur "The Fonze" Fonzerelli. ; )
