Just so you are aware Vigilantes is already out S1 finished earlier this year and next season is in January! Highly recommend it because it will give context to certain things from the main show and it's an awesome show!

Navi is pretty much right. Back in season 6?, The vestiges were saying that One For All likely couldn't be passed on because of the lack of quirkless people in the world. They realized too late that OFA is best used by a quirkless person because those with quirks die early (like Shinomori the 4th). It actually chisels down their life span. It was a miracle that All Might met and gave it to Izuku.

It's also the reason they think Deku is the last person who could wield it. It's going to be almost no one left who is Quirkless and the power would be a curse that kills anyone it got passed to.

It's worth pointing out that this plan isn't just Deku being Deku, it's literally a genuine win condition. Shiggy's hatred is the reason he's so strong, but it wavers continually because of Deku's heart. Doubling down solely to kill Shiggy only reinforces that hate, but this new plan will destroy Shiggy's will to fight. Killing Shiggy is a 10% chance to win, but emotional damage is 15% but with extreme blowback.

Navi is once again correct. One For All is too powerful to be wielded by a quirked person. They discovered that quirkless people are the only people that can properly wield One For All. It’s because their bodies can naturally meld with the quirk, as if it were their own, because they are empty vessels. People who already have quirks have their “cups” overflow to the point where it cuts their lifespan considerably. It’s why Shinomori (4th wielder who had Danger Sense) died of old age at 40. It’s even worse now that One For All has unlocked the previous six quirks of the past quirked wielders. It’s even more for one body to contain. Because of this and quirkless people becoming less and less of the population (let alone a morally upstanding quirkless person) Deku is most likely the last One For All wielder.

I genuinely don't understand the people who watch this episode and say Deku is stronger than Prime All Might. Deku has to use 3 different to replicate All Might at 100% and he's just barely keeping up with Shigaraki.

It's because Shiggy with no Quirks is slightly less than Prime Might, and the fact Gearshift puts him at 120% Allmight. So, when they see Deku break a limb off, they assume Deku can simply do that at will but he's choosing not to because he's trying to save him. They hear Nana begging him to charge a Max Blow and they get the notion Deku is selfish or naive for "not giving his all just to save this monster". The fight is more like Rengoku vs Akaza, they can grow nearly infinite limbs so of course he's losing a ton but that doesn't mean they're losing in the slightest. It's why the win conditions need to change from pure force to using the light.

Because that’s how One For All works. The successor inherits the stockpile from their predecessor and grows it even more. That on top of the six extra quirks allows Deku to achieve even greater amounts of power. All of this is with a Deku who hasn’t even mastered 100% One For All. Imagine an attack of Gearshift Overdrive + Fully Charged Fa Jin + momentum from Black Whip and reinforced Black Whip arms and legs + 100% One For All. That’s an extremely powerful attack that All Might wouldn’t have access to.

@Ren Davis In theory yes Deku has the potential to surpass All Might with his access to his other quirks. However Deku has not mastered 100% of One For All and needs the other quirks in order to MIMIC a 100% All Might. Toshinori didn't need to use the other quirks because he could use OFA's power from the get-go. Deku may have the advantage speed but Prime all my what absolutely demolishing in both strength and durability

Toshinori could master 100% One For All from the get go because his stockpile was lower. Deku inherited it after All Might grew the power for 40 years. Deku had to bear with much more power than All Might. And he has grown it himself somewhat in this small amount of time.

If this show ends with shiggy being talked down or anything short of him having to be killed I'll be extremely disappointed. This guy has killed too many people and caused too much destruction. There's no way he should be saveable at this point it would be kinda ridiculous imo
