When granny to Dick to keep the lid tight thats a reference to the movie Dr Sleep which y'all have to watch cause if I say it be spoiling

It definitely feels like Lily might be “Shining” a ghost from the sanitarium. It has all the hallmarks of a she’s not really there. The doctor said Lily got close to a housekeeper last summer but never specified who.

It irritates me that the landscape - millions (10? 100?) of years ago! - still looked almost exactly like a present day forest. As a side note, in the book the two kids couldn’t tell if It crashing was as a meteor or spaceship or something else. Notably they did not consider the wildlife contemporaneous with anything in recent history. Some fans have theorized It was an Extinction Level Event. Sadly the showrunner prefers his own mythology to the official.

You guys should react to Doctor Sleep, it's the sequel to The Shining and directed by Mike Flanagan. Ewan McGregor plays an adult Danny. I don't remember if I read the Doctor Sleep book first or watched the movie, but the movie is a pretty faithful adaptation. And it's a Mike Flanagan film, so I'd probably go with the Director's Cut, but the theater version is good, too.

I dunno, she never seems to offer anything truly helpful. Add to that her lack of a reflection and I seriously wonder if she’s a form of It. The only thing shooting that theory down is I don’t think we’ve seen It (in the novel or onscreen) play such a long con.

Bro this show is so good, so many dope parts about the writing, pennywise made the girls eyes like the snails bc the girl was scared of how it looked in class when they were being taught about parasites, and i think the writers did that bc that’s how she’s been acting. And also for the fear thing described by will, i really think pennywise wants wills dad bad, bc i think hanlon is producing fear again and pennywise is waiting for the perfect fear ripening.
