I've been excited to watch your reaction to the Finale.

This episode does a perfect showing of how far the Mighty Nein have to go. With Vox Machina, they were already rather powerful. Even their season 1 selves felt like they could have at least put up a fight against Trent and the Strike squad. However, it's very apparent that they are only surviving by the skin of their teeth. Vox Machina would have stormed the barracks, attacked the volstruckers, and jumped Trent. The Mighty Nein have to slink and hide in the shadows in order to have a chance at surviving. They got lucky this episode with outside forces interfering (Fjord's patron, Jester's god, and Lucien), it really reinforces to you, the viewer, that they're far below the level requirement for the mission's they're undertaking. Can't wait for season 2!
