And we just have to wait for the special episode in May! Hopefully that’s simuldubbed.

Amazing conclusion to an amazing final season; so emotional. No other anime I've seen captured strong feelings for so many different characters; an entire class in this case.

Basically, this is the THEMATIC ending of MHA. The special episode contains the PERSONAL ending.

#MHA #SundayRundown aww missing Chris and Navi for this sucks 💔 Its understandable that life happens and you can't help it but not being all together for the finale (sorta) dampens the enjoyment of the reaction at least for me. I can't speak for everyone obviously, but I think it would have been smart to have a poll to see if the people wanted to wait till you can reschedule the reaction so everyone can enjoy the finale together, I have no problem waiting a bit longer if it means we can all see the ending and discuss it. It's not too bad since we know that a last final episode is coming in May so that is more of the big series goodbye. As always it is fully up to you guys how you handle rescheduling, but for literal series finales, I think it's important to have everyone here. Just something to keep in mind for upcoming endings like stranger things or bleach.

All I’m saying is, if you know it’s a series finale you guys could atleast wait until yall all together. I understand missing episode in between but the ending. Come on guys do better.

GodUsopp

not having everyone on the couch for the final is outrageous , i think it would of been fine to just wait until you can have everyone lol

Ya'll pls! 😭 Shoto ranked #8 right after going independent! Meaning he started his solo hero career and ranked in the top 10, easily! That's actually pretty amazing! Also, Mirio is #1. Deku says this when he's talking to Aizawa; specifically, he said Togata is in the 'top spot' which means he's ranked #1.

#SundayRundown Just a few fun facts to notice! 1) Dai (kid with saucers in his hair) was shown briefly in an earlier episode as a child walking past the All Might statue, so they had his moment set up well in advance. 2) When you see Kota run up to Midoriya's door at school, there's a kid that walks by behind him with holes in his cheeks.... the kid that was almost the next Shigaraki, he ended up at UA studying to become a hero instead! 3) Bakugo throughout most of the episode is using his left hand like you can see him writing awkwardly with it in class, accepting his diploma with it, etc. because his right hand was injured. When he reaches out to Deku at the end, it's with his right hand, now rehab'd from his injury.

The show aint going no where

no more kaiju no.8?

I found the ending of this series to be incredibly disappointing and rushed since a lot of the heroes suffered little to any consequences and the fact that it reinforces that idea you can't be a hero without a quirk because Deku essentially gives up being a hero once he loses his but I'm at least glad that you all got to enjoy it

Such a great way to end the series. Everything tied back into the central themes and ushered in a great vision for the future. It’s all encapsulated in ordinary citizens getting hero statues next to All Might and Granny redeeming herself by helping Terumoto. Hawks got the vision he wanted. Heroes have more free time. Loved seeing Deku get his technological One For All. Instead of 8 predecessors growing the power and passing it on, Class 1-A funded his suit, especially Bakugo. They “grew the power” and passed it onto Deku. Now he gets to be a hero/teacher like Aizawa 😭 Shoto got a great ending. Seeing him more recognized as Shoto and less recognized as Endeavor’s son was the entire reason his hero name is simply Shoto. He’s his own person. Not his father’s masterpiece. Half Cold/Half Hot is his quirk. Not Endeavor’s.

Ren Davis

The kid with the darkness quirk is UA student. You can see him walk behind Kota in the hallway. And Compress is reading Spinner’s book in prison. Shame the anime took out Compress’s scene where Geten talks about the nature of quirk aspects manifesting on the brink of death. That was used to explain why Toya developed some ice powers at the end. I do understand the exclusion though. And Dai is the kid with the Endeavor plushie in Season 6 whose gained strength from looking at the All Might statue with his mom.

Fullmetal Alchemist creator Hiromu Arakawa has a new anime coming out called Daemons of the Shadow Realm. Should keep that on your radar. As for this anime, I thought it was solid, but it definitely fell off for me. I am glad you guys enjoyed it.

Dabi is dead after the time skip. The clip you saw was when they were still in high school. Mirio is the number one hero. Shoto debuted at number eight but is now number two. Thematically fitting after Endeavor worked so hard to make sure Shoto was number one. After all of that trauma, Shoto is happier than he’s ever been as the number two hero. Great contrast with his father who felt a void in his life because he was the number two hero. Shoto being content at two is the perfect ending to the Todoroki saga. The world sees Shoto simply as Shoto. He’s finally seen as his own person, just like his hero name suggests. Bakugo fell to number 15.

Meh

While I don't think I'd call it a personal favorite I don't think I can dispute objectively calling it a top 10 (or even 5) anime like Suraj. It was kinda funny hearing Rana mention AOT as the best and I don't really disagree but thinking about it I HATED the ending of AOT. My biggest issue with MHA is just the time frame really being within a year and that it backs of from getting as dark as it probably should be given what's actually going on (though I can understand why). Overall I loved it and glad you did too.
