#SundayRundown I'm happy Rhea Seehorn is finally winning the awards she deserves for Pluribus, even though she should have been winning them for playing Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul first. I like how she's sometimes the only actor for several minutes in a row at a time. That has to be fun for an actor.

I could see that since the hive is spread like a virus then it should be able to further mutate. I feel like the question she should be wondering is if they will kill her if they realize they can’t make her join.

If the hivemind's initiation caused about a billion people to pass away, maybe its deactivation would cause a similar catastrophe. If you're inclined to resist, maybe Mr. Air Force One's behavior is less conspicuous than Mr. Storage Facility's. You'd be safer hiding your intentions because the humans that have hivemind family members might not want to roll the dice on their family passing away in the deactivation catastrophe. Being part of a hivemind doesn't necessarily mean the original person is gone. It might just mean that they've changed from the access to all knowledge and perception.

What I'm wondering is what was it like for the first person infected? The scientist lady. In that brief few moments there was no shared consciousness of minds because it was just her, until she infected the guy from deadpool.

#SundayRundown That actually was the real mayor of Albuquerque playing the mayor. He just got re-elected too. But let's be honest Vince Gilligan runs Albuquerque. I think Spidey was right, seems like the heart attack was from Zosia fighting the truth serum. According to movie logic if you fight the truth serum it makes it worse for the body. At least thats a common trope in movies and tv.

It certainly seemed like she underwent a personality change post-joining, as she had been talkative but went silent immediately after exposure (when there weren't any other humans in the hivemind to telepathically link with). The psychic "virus'" biological imperative (to link all humans with a hivemind) may change people's personalities, or perhaps she was psychically linked with one or more alien civilizations, and her personality was diluted by joining a hivemind with billions of other alien personalities. It might be possible to find out the 1st infected person's experiences by convincing the hivemind to de-link someone. If you told the hivemind that you & the other unlinked people would be more likely to join if you had the unbiased testimony of someone who had been de-linked, that de-linked person may have memories from being exposed to all perspectives. I'd trust a de-linked person's report more than asking the hivemind about anything.
