The Demon in the Snow | Fallout 2x3 | Group Reaction

The Normies react to Fallout season 2 episode 3, "The Demon in the Snow," directed by Stephen Williams and Jane Espenso. Suraj, Micky, Chris, Marketa and Spidey give their review!! During the Sino-American War, Cooper is ambushed by Chinese soldiers in Alaska but survives when a Deathclaw kills them. In 2296, Norm grows suspicious of a Vault-Tec executive who seems to know more than he reveals. In Vault 33, a broken water chip causes severe shortages, leading Betty to consult Steph; they discover Vault 31 is empty and the experiment effectively over, but Steph withholds help unless she receives a box stored in Vault 33. Woody overhears and reports the conversation, while Chet later learns Steph has a pre-war Canadian ID. Meanwhile, Maximus returns to Area 51 with Thaddeus disguised as Harkness in power armor. To prevent civil war, Maximus attempts to kill Quintus, but chaos erupts after Dane steals the cold fusion relic, forcing Maximus and Thaddeus to flee with it. Lucy recovers at an NCR camp but becomes addicted to drugs. She later joins the Ghoul to enter the deserted New Vegas Strip, where they are confronted by a Deathclaw. I have a theory about Xander being a Synth, there are hints to it.

Fallout lore: Yes deathclaws are a prewar experiment that was used by the us military as a ground troop the only deathclaw that was released prewar is the one in Alaska but after the bombs fell the rest of the specimens were released into the wild and end up everywhere.

#SundayRundown I don't have a deep knowledge of Fallout lore, so the Demon shocked the hell out of me. Cooper Howard is one of the most interesting characters in fiction right now - but a lot of that is Walton Goggins, who may be overtaking Stephen Root as my fave actor.

It’s not weird for maximus to not have considered what happens afterwards because we’ve seen since the first season he isn’t good at thinking on his feet and doesn’t plan things in general. It’s why it felt a bit weird back in season one when a lot of the couch thought he put the blade in the boot and successfully lied about it under pressure. This was always a likely outcome for him.

#SundayRundown OH MY GOD SHE'S CANADIAN! But seriously, the important thing is that she's over 200 years old, Norm knows this, nobody else does though. Some reactors don't catch this, you guys got it. The I.D. actually says "Annexed Territory of Canada, US." In Fallout the US invaded Canada and owned it. Deathclaws were created by the government pre-war as weapons. When the bombs dropped they got free and spread over the wasteland. Most fallout fans myself included didn't know this. This is deep lore from Fallout 2. So a bunch of fallout fans got triggered by this, but no it's lore accurate, the show didn't make that up. In the Fallout games China is depicted as the main enemy of the US. Strangely the Soviet Union is almost never mentioned, it's only China as an enemy in Fallout. The female Brotherhood Elder mentions "Elder Maxson." That's the Chad Brotherhood leader from Fallout 4 who is technically the leader of the entire Brotherhood. If he's still alive than that might mean either the Minutemen or Brotherhood won in Fallout 4. He's 20 in Fallout 4 so he'd be 29 right now.

the deathclaws from what i know from the game are genetically engineered super solders made with the jackson chameleons DNA to win the war. they rule the wasteland bcos after the bombs dropped they escaped contamination and were perfect apex predators for the wasteland also being able to reproduce since eggs are found in the game too, i am soooo happy they confirmed it

Mickey is right. Dude that got stabbed in the tongue is like a big time 80s villain actor and he was Shao Kahn. I knew it when I first saw him. Such a distinct look. Don't even need to look it up to confirm.

Yea most people dont know about the Deathclaw origin because its only ever mentioned in fallout 76 im pretty sure. All the other games have little to no talk about them. And considering how much hate fallout 76 has gotten, its not a surprise most people dont know about them. But even in 76 its not talked about alot, just a few locations have info on them

And just some fun info for you guys: Buffout in the games increases your health, strength and endurance. So it makes sense they used that on her. Also since it increases your strength, youre able to carry more weight in your inventory. So i think they showed that by having Lucy carry that big bag of guns without much struggle. The ghouls lucy killed were the gang from freeside called "The Kings". A group of people who looked at Elvis Presley as a sort of god from the past world. The one in the white suit with the guitar was their leader, "The King". Also, its funny you guys said that Lucy has a dookie finger. Because Ella Purnell herself has always called it the "poop finger" lol. So youre spot on with that

I hadnt thought about him specifically being one,but im sure theyll introduce synths at some point. It would make some sense if he is one considering hes from the comonwealth. But i highly suggest going back and taking a look at the end credits of episode 3.Maybe you saw it already, but there is a body in the credits that looks exactly like a synth. At 50:54,as the camera pans out of the vault, you see a body lying there which again looks just like a synth. I always wondered if they actually would bring synths into the show, because i figured that might be too much for non gamers to handle and think its just too far fetched and overall too much going on. But seeing as how theyre pretty much bringing everything from the games into the show, and the credits easter egg..im convinced we will see synths. Most likely in season 3,with maybe them introducing the idea at the end of this season
