Felt a little more lore than action in this one, but it's a great set-up for the final two episodes of the seasons.

Sirenhead isn't canon, it was just fan-created creature added in a fallout 4 mod.

Oh my god Suraj was right, it all does come back to Lost. The vaults are the dharma initiative, and Ben Linus is here too. I'm wondering if Barb and Janey are actually in those cryo pods we saw last episode or if Jonathon Nolan is pulling another fake out and tricking us like he did multiple times in Westworld. Ron Perlman narrated the first fallout game 1997 and claims he got paid 40 dollars and a sandwich for an afternoon of voice work. I'm not sure if he's joking or not. But the clip where he explains it is pretty funny. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/qHcW0U4ORKo

To clear up the Cold Fusion origins, in season 1, it was Moldaver's company that invented Cold Fusion, then Vault Tec bought her company and hid the technology away. Not sure how the Cold Fusion gets into the Enclave's hands from there, hopefully we'll find out this season how that happens. Then in season 1, Ben Linus steals the Cold Fusion tech from the Enclave labs and is trying to get the Cold Fusion back to Moldaver and the NCR. That's how Lucy met up with Ben Linus.

Ron Pearlman really came in here and teased a war between the mutants and The Enclave. The Mutants population is basically on a downward trajectory as they aren't really making them anymore. Ghouls are rarely popping up, Super Mutants haven't been made in mass since Fallout 3, and [REDACTED] from fallout 4 have probably stopped being created as well. Apparently teasers for what Fallout 5's plot would be say it would be a direct fallout for what happens in the TV show. Since it's probably going to be another decade before we even get a teaser for Fallout 5, that leaves plenty of season to be made and for the wasteland to be turned onto its head. I can't wait!
