Such a good episode and reaction! Regarding Baltar's Cylon detector... it *did* work. It correctly identified Boomer as a Cylon. But Baltar feared that if the Cylons learned about the detector, his life would be in danger because the Cylons would send suicide bombers or assassins after him. So he kept Boomer's secret. In a conversation with his Head Six, she said "everyone passes these little tests", confirming that Baltar was just passing everyone (even if they failed), out of his own sense of self-preservation. From what I remember, the show never went into details about who all he actually tested, but it was a very lengthy process and would've taken him decades to screen everyone in the fleet (according to his calculations). Since Baltar decided he would just let everyone pass the test, everyone else *assumed* the test just didn't work. Tigh confirmed this viewpoint in a later episode when he said that Baltar's test didn't work because it "failed to ID Boomer".

For the record, Baltar didn't trick that old woman in Caprica back in the miniseries. He actually helped her. Then Helo recognized him and gave up his seat. Helo 4ever 🤟🏻❤️

#sundayrundown Mickey must be itching out of his skin rn. Yall are putting together so many pieces, asking great questions yet you're not asking the most obvious one in regards to the 1-8 Cylons vs the Final Five. 😆 Rana is the only one that is on the right path. I'm rooting for you girl!

Gaius did not steal the old lady's place on the ship in the miniseries, you're misremembering.
