Fun fact: Giovanni "John" Zatara, Zatanna’s father, first appeared in Action Comics #1. This is the same issue Superman first appeared.

#SundayRundown. I"m glad you guys are watching episodes from BTAS and STAS in prep for Justice League. Makes sense since it is good to have some context for Justice League. Also fun fact: Any Zatanna episodes of any DC Animated series is most likely written by Paul Dini, BTAS and STAS head writer. Dini absolutely loves Zatanna, so his love is definitely seen in the episodes he writes that features her.

That recommendation will add a lot of context for these characters when you guys get to the Justice League cartoons. Especially looking forward to the Batman Beyond series. Even though I would prefer a full series watch for these shows, I do appreciate you guys for at least going through the recommended episodes prior to the JL shows.

The Superman animated series episodes called The World’s Finest that has the Batman Suerpman crossover which has 3 parts are definitely a must

Good that they don’t just watch Justice League but lead up to it with these episodes. Gonna make season 2 and JLU so much better, the build up from STAS is so good. Plus DCAU Superman is my favourite version so this will be fun.

Well this is at least better than nothing I was extremely disappointed when you dropped BTAS mainly because it leads into STAS (which I prefer) and Batman Beyond (the best Batman!) then Justice League and JLU they had the Marvel Cinematic universe roadmap done in animation for years and then they did their rollout how they did it... well well always have this DCAU which also includes SS and TZP though I don't consider those required viewing just great supplements

“I forgot to mention a few Static Shock episodes. You should check them out between Seasons 1 and 2 of Justice League, since that’s when Static teams up with the League

I'm so glad you guys are reacting to both JL and JLU. I and older fans see them as one show and it was seen that way for a while until DVDs and steaming split them up. Also, remember to react to the two parters as one and then you'll likely catch up with blind wave 🤔.

Batman has a thing with everyone, he’s like the number one dc hoe. He’s the dc village bicycle everyone gets a ride. Look back and you’ll see him get all the romantic interests, even people like poison ivy had a roll at it.

#SundayRundown - Hey that's my list :) Thanks guys! ****Normies please read this comment and the replies, thank you!**** I did edit in another episode that didn't make it into your list, so I think you took my list from before that edit, but if you have time i'd recommend also adding in STAS 3X11 - The Demon Reborn into the schedule as well. It's a World's Finest episode, so definitely one to watch. That's completely my bad for missing it the first time i typed out the list, my apologies there lol. Excited to finally start the DCAU journey proper! :D

They’re starting the Justice League cartoons, but someone gave them a list of specific episode from other DCAU shows they gotta watch before that. My guess is that it’s episodes that establish that A. All these cartoons share a universe B. These heroes have helped each other in the past and that leads up to them just forming a team.

Great list overall!! I actually think the STAS episode "Where there's Smoke" might also be worth it because that really begins the foundation of something... even if it isn't clear at the time.

#SundayRundown I do think it’s interesting, depending on the iteration, that Bruce and Dick share women lol (i.e, Barbara, Zatanna) I don’t think watching the episodes are hugely necessary but I’m happy for new/more & fresh DC content on the channel

#sunday rundown. I don't know which episodes you guys are watching. If it's only for continuity. But I would like to highly recommend "Almost gottem" , one of the best of the series, it's an episode where all the batman villains play poker together while sharing stories of how they almost got batman .

#sundayrundown I enjoyed this one even though Zatanna was neutered here- no true magic in her arsenal. Of course if she did have her full power she wouldn't have needed Batman :-). Their history was a nice bonus, but wouldn't she recognize the famous Bruce Wayne as her John Smith?
