The cropping cuts off the bottom of the video. Idk if that's a dodge copyright jujutsu technique or if just a mistake.

I hope y'all's editor cut it properly for the yt release cuz it's missing the bottom 50 or so pixels that's contain the subs.

Really dig how so much of JJK is this underlying anger at the casual injustice in the world propped up by complacency towards strict adherence to tradition. So many of the subplots and underlying foundation of the main plot turns on that idea. Higuruma fits like a glove. Not to mention that I loved the lore drop that he reverse engineered cursed energy control from working backwards all the way from Domain Expansions. Mastered barrier techniques and acquired fine-tuned control in a short amount of time because of his natural talent in breaking down structures and seeing what makes them tick. On top of that, his cursed technique is a pain in the ass depending on how the trial goes. You could either lose your cursed technique, cursed energy if no cursed technique, or lose those on top of receiving the death penalty and have to contend with a one hit kill Executioner’s Sword. And how could I forget the almighty gavel? What an incredibly powerful and versatile weapon. This guy is a beast. We need to start calling him HIMguruma 😭😭

#SundayRundown Higaruma to me feels a lot like Nanami. A good person who is being ground down by the world around them. Which is why Yuji's victory comes from him inspiring a bit of hope in Higaruma. He 100% would have killed Yuji with that attack, but the fact he reached Higaruma saved his life. Yuji has been hurt having to kill people, and in a game where everyone (including his allies) wants to kill, he stands basically alone.

Wonder if this is a translation thing or just a difference in justice systems but I find it kinda odd that you go into a "retrial" for a different crime. Could also be the deliberate reason they didn't use "appeal", though I'm pretty sure it's really just to gameify it. Also if you were unclear about it when Yuji mentioned killing people of his own volition at the end he was referring to all of the transfigured humans he had to kill while fighting Mahito. Including Junpei we see maybe about 5-10 but given Shibuya was full of them there's no telling how many he may have killed just getting to Mahito off screen.

If it wasn’t for Takaba the half naked king of comedy, I’d say this guy is the GOAT
