Oh nice! Such a great movie. I had to read the book and watch the movie in my AP Literature class in high school. I think we studied how things happened in the story that don't follow the normal literary tropes and what the author was trying to do with them. Like, how Buttercup still got married even though in most stories, the hero will stop the wedding. Or how Westley died despite being the hero. The book is excellent so I highly recommend reading it.

Is there a reason the edited movie reactions go straight into the film without any pre-amble or introduction? I miss the conversation and indication of who has seen the movie before, etc.

Agreed. I never understood why they would cut the intro out of the UNCUTS. I've been forced to just watch the intro on the Youtube cut just to see who has already seen films before.

In addition to the movies you all mentioned Cary Elwes was also the piece of crap mayor in Stranger Things season 3. Ah damn someone on the twitch chat mentioned it right after I typed that. "I want my father back you son of a bitch!" Mandy Patinkin said that he was thinking of his dad who died of cancer when he said that line. Which really resonates to many of us who have lost loved ones to cancer. Also I think a lot of us remember Mandy Patinkin from Criminal Minds.
