In a way, Jonathan and Martha saved the world by immediately adopting and raising a space baby to be a good person. Also, the introduction of this Lois Lane is seriously dynamically cool.

Adan Guzman

Suraj: “Every girl in this animated universe looks like that(Lana) Wait till they get to Justice League and see how practically every guy has the same exact build. 😅

Kickinthescience

The best Lois Lane has arrived. As usual the animated version is better than live action

Jon Mercano

It’s Lana! Lana. Lana! LANAAAAAAAA!!! Please watch Archer on the channel

The "whoosh" sound of SuperMan flying is iconic to me since childhood. If I see anyone flying I just hear that sound in my mind.

Kay Bee Baby

Yeah the DCAU always had a stacked voice cast, Malcom McDowell will become Metallo in later episodes. Also my favourite version of Clark since he doesn’t come off like a bumbling idiot, was serious about his job and could actually have a bit of attitude.

Zeee

Shit. Bruce and Clark could damn near be brothers

Steve Harvey Dent

There's good lex Luther. Clancy Brown has great roles. But Clancy Brown is my lex luthor.

Ren Davis

Fun fact: the voice of Young Clark Kent is Jason Marsden. Impulse from Young Justice and Richie from Static Shock. Jason from Boy Meets World if you want a live action reference. Which is cool because Will Friedle (Eric from Boy Meets World) is Terry McGinnis in Batman Beyond.

Ren Davis

Well Martha is their mother 😮

Ren Davis

Take notes Man of Steel.

Ren Davis

Love this Clark. He shows more backbone and isn’t afraid to be more assertive. Love when he tells the truth about his identity because he knows no one will believe him. It’s so funny 😂

Denickart

Jason Marsden is the voice of Max Goof

Kay Bee Baby

In the comics stories have played around with the fact that Clark and Bruce look very similar.

#SundayRundown Fun to see you guys watching a proper Superman origin story. There is actually a sort of missing part to this where after Clark finds out about his powers, the Legion of Superheroes, basically the justice league in the 30th century who are directly inspired by Superman, come back in time to meet their hero and Clark ends up hanging out with them for a while in the future. Which is how by the time he’s an adult he’s so good at being a superhero. Also, yeah, I know the glasses thing is silly but a fun interpretation that I like to reason it is people don’t think Superman even has a secret identity to begin with. Like, he doesn’t wear a mask, he’s seemingly always busy doing something heroic, and why would anyone with those powers even have one?

Steve Harvey Dent

He did voice terry McGinnis but only on the kids wb batman beyond promo commercials

Ren Davis

Jason Marsden voiced him in the Kids WB promos? That’s cool to know!

Zeee

#SundayRundown I do understand most people not liking how Clark & Superman aren’t really different and makes you question what makes it a disguise… but at the time, maybe a different take was a nice change. I do like James Gunn using the hyno glasses from the old school comics as a thing in the new movie. Is Rana ever gonna finish YJ or is that just kinda done since it’s been so long atp?

Shockzz1234

#SundayRundown - Man this shit is so nostalgic. I used to have this 3 parter as a kinda "movie" VHS tape when I was younger (along with another part STAS 3 parter that I'm sure people know heh). Also yes Clancy Brown is Lex, THE Lex for me! Guy was a huge part of my childhood, Lex, Mr Krabs, Neo Cortex from Crash, Praxis from Jak 2...wow. Also yes, as someone else pointed out the dude John Corben - the fancy sounding dude who leads the hijacking - (who is voiced by Malcolm McDowell), goes on to become Metallo (I did include some of his eps in my list, but not as NEED to watch eps, so if you wanna see him you're gonna have to watch them yourself!). He's actually one of Superman's main adversaries during STAS, and even appeared on the cover box for the Superman: Shadow of Apokolips game. So I have a good amount of nostalgic fondness over him too (and it hurt to say that his eps weren't really SUPER necessary, but hey i had to shorten it somehow lol).

Ren Davis

Jak II was such a fun game. The twists and turns were awesome. Also the exchange between the Krimson Guards and Daxter comes back to me from time to time: Krimson Guard: “Surrender and die!” Daxter: “Um excuse me. Don’t you mean surrender OR DIE!?” And I had some good times playing Shadow of Apokolips. Much better than Superman 64 😂

Mzuka

#SundayRundown Watch Smallville! Best Clark/Lois dynamic and banter off the page, and since she meets him before he’s Supes he’s being himself. Also damn this takes me back used to rent the same tape from the video store all the time.

Michael Colorado

#SundayRundown What Navi was saying at end of the episode about Superman's baby was right Superman's baby John was about to make lazer eyes at Louis and he wanted an emergency boom tube from cyborg season 4x9 end credits there is no baby in the Incredibles

Michael Colorado

What about Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman

Shockzz1234

A fellow Jak fan nice! The dialogue was great, you're right, personally a fan of when Daxter lists off all the lonnnnnggggg ass copyrights that Krew serves him at one point lmao. "GAME RIGHTS?!?!" Also yeah Shadow of Apokolips was pretty fun. I always remember wishing the whole game was like the first level, since it was a free roam level! =P It was fun flying around the city and dealing with various problems haha.

Kay Bee Baby

There’s is a later STAS episode (that will be skipped) where legionnaires comeback to save teen Clark from a villain and we get to see a bit more of his teenage years.

Ren Davis

I remember struggling so much with the Krew mission where you had to race from Krew’s bar to the stadium. Took me aaaaaaaaaaages to beat that mission. Had a friend who was surprised I was able to do it because he struggled 😂 Wish I still owned Shadow of the Apokolips to give it another playthrough.

Shockzz1234

Jak 2 was a genuinely hard as fuck game for no reason lmaooo. When the yellow outfitted Krimson Guards got introduced? Ah hell no. And the mission where you have to destroy the Hellcat Cruisers? What were Naughty Dog on when they made it lmao. Great game though. Tbh i actually can't remember if i ever even beat Shadow of Apokolips lmao. I remember there being a really hard button mashing moment where you had to push some....thing in to the wall to stop water from flowing, it was so hard, felt like you legit needed athlete level stamina for it lmao, had to get my dad to do it when I was younger.

Ren Davis

But because the game could be so hard when you’re a kid, you felt so much accomplishment when you finally made beat it 🥳 And I never beat Shadow of Apokolips either. The last thing I think I remember from the game is the dam or something like that.

Alextreme63

Has Chris seen the red son movie? He’s made at least 4 references to Superman landing in Russia (a couple were from young Justice) and I’ve been hoping that they react to that movie since then.

Shockzz1234

Exactly! And then sometimes you'd play it as an adult and be like "how the hell did I beat this as a kid??" lmao. Ah yes! The dam is what I was referring too! When you have to save a bunch of civilians. Now that I think about it, I actually don't remember much about the game after that either. Looks like we usually stopped in the same place lmfao.

Ren Davis

Damn that dam. Daxter for the PSP was a fun side game. And I rather enjoyed Jax X: Combat Racing.

Shockzz1234

Daxter and Jak X were great! I recently replayed Daxter on the PS5 haha. Jak X was a surprisingly good racing game too. And there were no Jak games after that. Not a single one!
