Stay until the end for the discussion!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Episode 68 Summary Kuwabara and Botan find gather Kurama and Hiei to aid them in rescuing Yusuke. Although Hiei is reluctant to do so, Botan convinces him to come with them. The four head to the mansion where Yusuke is held, and find Kaito in the first room. Kaito explains that they have entered a realm of four dimensions, in which fantasy can be altered into reality. Hiei has been turned to stone after falling prey by one of Kaito's attacks, one that forbids from saying the word "hot". Kuwabara is unable to snatch from Yanagisawa the key to the room leading toward Yusuke. Kurama has agreed to a game of taboo against Kaito. but if you don't talk and the time goes out Kaito steals ur soul.

MrInuhanyou123 .

From the very beginning of the arc Chapter Black has so many great moments that are so different from the rest of the series, especially Dark Tournament. Even someone like toguro would have been cooked had he been trapped in Kaitous territory without knowledge of the games rules (which we are lead to assume he doesn't have to tell you, the victim, about. it's his own ego that makes him give others a fair chance).

#SundayRundown #YuYuHakusho Anything involving wordplay in another language is already a nightmare to translate. Now just imagine an entire episode based on esoteric language-manipulation in Japanese, and having to make it make sense to English speakers. Hats off to localization teams, man. 🙏🏽

Kickinthescience

Kurama winning without violence is on brand for his character

GKDreamerTV

Hiei and Bo’tan disappointed me in this episode. This word game episode reminded me of the Darui episode during the fourth ninja war in Naruto shippuden, where they fought against the gold and silver brothers. I can’t think of any other anime where you have to use words to win a match or else you’ll lose your soul 🙃

GKDreamerTV

Even Hiei made a mistake, so Yusuke doesn’t have the right to criticize him for being overly arrogant in his decisions. At least he didn’t succumb to the shadow possession just yet.

Denickart

That was based on Journey to the West. Dragon Ball had a filler episode with that same concept

#sundayrundown Quick clarification. Genkai did die. Yusuke "used" his wish to bring her back. Koenma was the only remaining committee member of dark tournament,as the owner of team urameshi, so he had the ability to grant them a wish.

Jonathon Swift

The dub made in an error cause the guy Kurabawa tried to punch said "each other" last episode.

Javi

Love to see Kurama solo those guys lmao such a great character then he poses on Kaito's chair after 🤣

Kamina 1

Genkai did die. They had a wish after winning the tournament.

Shockzz1234

It hasn't been animated yet (and maybe might not ever be lol) but Undead Unluck has a really cool fight involving langauge too.

Underdark Caz

You just couldn't use H O T in a row so when Kuwarabara said "Each Other" at the end of Each is "H" and at the beginning of Other is "O T" which spells hot.

DickGarrison

The reason why Genkai brought back to life. It was a reward on defeating the Toguro brothers and winning the tournament. Remember the flashback where Toguro ask Koenma to keep her body safe. Since Toguro know that Yusuke will wish to bring back Genkai. Reason why Genkai is alive.
