By “dropping a bomb” reggie is meaning a metaphorical/figurative bomb as in something huge is going to happen, not an actual bomb jus so you guys know😂

Y'all catching the Phoenix Wright parallels is really on point! Higuruma is based on Phoenix is both design and backstory. Even the Shikigami is sort of meant to resemble the judge in those games.

I guess it makes sense that ya'll can't tell the difference between the girls/women with long brown hair 😂 And Shoko rarely gets any screen time, so I get it. So just a reminder as to who Shoko Ieiri is: She is a jujutsu sorcerer/doctor with reversed curse technique that was going to dissect Yuji when he died back in season 1. She is also the classmate & friend of Gojou and Geto; we saw her looking very much like Nobara in season 2: Hidden Inventory. She's always smoking, her eyes tilt downward and she has purple make up on her lower eyelids (or maybe baggy eyes? lol). She also has a mole under the corner of her right eye (left eye from our perspective).

I will let the other commenters fill you in on everything you misunderstood lol but know that you guys have pretty much been introduced to everyone in my top 5 JJK characters, 1. Yuji 2. Hakari 3. Maki 4. Higuruma 5. Takaba who we saw for a split second at the end of episode 3 haven't seen much of him yet, but he is peak comedy. The upcoming fights are going to be fire 🔥 can't wait.

A part of the convo between Fushiguro and Reggie was basically Reggie saying "yeah new gen sorcerers are fucked because older ones like Kashimo will just kill them all since they already know how to use their powers and have way more experience and strength, and it's been designed that way by Kenjaku on purpose" but there are exceptions that buck the trend and Kenjaku's intent like Higuruma, who despite being a newly awakened modern day sorcerer, already achieved a Domain Expansion and has 100+ points in the Games. Remember, Nanami was said to be the gold standard of Jujutsu Sorcerers and had a fuckton of experience, was Grade 1 (the highest Grade anyone can obtain, besides the 4 Special Grade sorcerers) and even he didn't have a Domain Expansion. Higuruma is him and an *exceptionally* fast learner, a prodigy.

Ok I shouldn't have said the whole convo, but it was part of the convo. The actual whole convo is Reggie basically saying that Kenjaku just needs bodies and strong people to live from the Games for a yet not known reason and that there's a hidden reason Kenjaku is hosting the Games and that it's bullshit (Higuruma also calls this out). The majority of these bodies will be new awakened sorcerers. Reggie even says that a bunch of the massive amount of already dead bodies came from people falling and hitting the ground when they spawn in a Colony, which is supposed to help new sorcerers have a second awakening and close the gap between them and old sorcerers, but because they're new and have no idea what they're doing, a large chunk of them die during it from the fall before they even get to fight and are just fodder to add to the body count.

I think it is very interesting if not down right appropriate that a lawyer would have a strong affinity for Jujutsu. I think Suraj got it at the end about Higuruma. He's someone who believes in justice likely for very ethical reasoning, but he recognizes and has ultimately become disillusioned by short comings in typical crimal justice systems. Within this game he is witnessing a natural system of rules and regulations that (he thinks) everyone is equally bound to, and seems to be learning and mastering it at an alarming rate. I think he is enamored by the natural law and enforcement of Jujutsu and wants to see it to the full extent (which is also very likely why we don't actually hear him bringing up any notion of ethics, or morals now).

To clarify since I don't think anybody has yet; No Yuji is not a Death Painting like Choso, but they are still related. If you think back to Season 2 Choso says something like "I have 3 parents; my mother, the cursed spirit that impregnated my mother, and the man who threw his blood into the mix" the man in question was "Noritoshi Kamo" whose body at the time was taken over by Kenjaku. Yuji on the other hand had a normal birth to his father who was completely normal and his uhhh... "mother" Kenjaku which is why Yuji is human. Remember Kenjaku and also Sukuna are really really old human sorcerers that cheated the system to stick around (Sukuna's fingers as cursed objects and Kenjaku's body snatching)

Any day now and I’ll be caught up……….eventually 😅 In regard to understanding Jujutsu Kaisen, you’re actually doing quite well. Don’t stress about it. If you’re enjoying the ride then that’s cool and everything will fall into place at some point. And if they don’t that’s what we’re here for 😎
