Great to see both of you start the JJK Manga. Fair bit of warning, the VIZ translator for JJK is named John Werry and he is despised by the JJK fans because he mistranslated a lot of key dialogue in the Manga. It’s pretty bad, to the point where most fans would agree that fan translations of JJK are better than the official ones from VIZ. Which is a damn shame. Just wanted to let you know.

Facts reading JJK manga is like speaking to someone who barely learned their first new language

Yeah I came here to say this. John Werry's translations are AWFUL, he messes up constantly sometimes to the point where what he's translated is the complete OPPOSITE of what was actually said. He also (probably) wasn't an actual JJK fan and so just translated a lot of stuff at face value without knowing the deeper context behind a lot of things or when the series was directly referencing something from earlier in the series etc. This is one of the few times I'd recommend not reading the official and reading fan translations instead.

BlackHeart279

Indeed, fan translations over Werry’s translation all day

You guys should read kingdom next I havent read JJK or either of the series you list as options for you next manga but something they all have in common is that they have decent anime you can watch. Kingdoms one of the best selling manga out there but the anime for it is trash

Sonicluis

You should have also added where they can read it.

Michael Acuna

Totally hip! I recently listened to the JJK dub and was debating if I should get into it, but thought the story seemed interesting.

bondbond53

Could we link the ladies with the proper TCB scans?

Bob

Shoulda been jojos bizarre adventure. but a lot of music references might go over navi and marketa

toastthecat

Ink Noir
