A good replacement for Spy would be Delicious In Dungeon. It’s only short, the dub is really good if you want to watch it that way and it’s funny and absolutely gorgeous at times.

Nice to hear you added the additional eps for the DCAU! I was wondering lol. (also yes to the Lobo episodes, we won't mind! Lmao) Btw, letting you know in advance, - HOPEFULLY YOU SEE THIS - for the Batman Beyond movie, there's two versions - the original uncut version and a censored version. I'd make sure ahead of time that you can find and react to the uncut, and therefore uncensored, original version, since that is (by far, I think?) the more preferred version!

The uncut version is the preferred version. I was looking around & it seems like none of the usual places have it. The version you're looking for is 75 minutes long

No the censored version is 75 minutes long iirc. The uncut (uncensored) version is a few minutes longer, I think 78 or 79? I could be wrong though, but the uncut is longer than the censored, obviously. I've read that Amazon might have the uncut version, but I haven't looked too deeply into it tbh.

The dub has Emily Rudd in it, doesn't it? Nami from the OPLA lol. I've never watched it dubbed, so if they pick it up, it gives me a reason to do so lol.

Okay, You're right & it's a little silly because of why it's confusing. We're about to head into real nerd territory 🤓. The 70, 71 or 74 minute version is not rated (it's listed with three separate run times depending on the source). Now most of the time you'd think the not rated version is the uncensored version for the obvious reason that there isn't a rating assigned to it. In this case though the PG-13 version is the uncensored version & the version with the creators original intentions. That's 76:45 & that's the Blu-ray I have. It has all the important stuff. Amazon lists the runtime as 71 minutes & PG-13 rating Apple lists list the runtime as 70 minutes & PG-13 rating. Fandango & YouTube movies have PG-13 rating plus 76:45 runtime. I'd recommend Fandango since it can be purchased or rented while YouTube seems to be only free with ads. I know I just wrote four paragraphs about all of this 😆 The version you watch does make a difference though. The not rated version is definitely more sanitized than the PG-13 version.

Rana it's cool to see some love for Grounded for Life. Even though it ran for almost 100 episodes it feels like not a lot of people know about it. It could be due to three of the seasons airing on the WB & that network was never really known for its sitcoms.

No, these are the kind of details we need! Lol. From doing a bit of digging myself, they do have to be careful still, because from what I've seen some people THINK they're buying the uncut version (as in it has the PG-13 rating, the longer runtime etc) and it still turns out to be the censored version anyway. So it's kinda annoying. It doesn't seem to be labelled very well or consistently, which just makes finding it harder than it needs to be lol. Hopefully they get the uncut version though.

I don't know how their mod process works but isn't there someone who can check this out for them? That seems like the best solution unless it's been watched online recently by a Patreon that can vouch for it.

Thank you for reading my gargantuan fucking Snowfall comment 😆. I literally sat down and edited it on Friday to trim it down, but I obviously didn't do it in time lol. The show is highly entertaining, but as you quickly learned, it also brings up a lot of serious political commentary, and I'm going to have to pick my battles going forward on that when it comes to the discussions lol. I've been wracking my brain trying to think of what is the best Bret Hart match to use to introduce them. So many of them require a lot of additional context (Austin, Owen, Piper & Davey Boy Smith). I think DBS might require the least context & the famous WrestleMania 13 match shouldn't be their first match. Here's a few suggestions: Bret Hart vs The British Bulldog at In Your House 5: Season Beatings. (Great technical wrestling that builds into a fight) Bret Hart vs Mr..Perfect at SummerSlam 91 (Two second generation wrestlers going full tilt to steal the show) Bret Hart vs Hakushi at WWF RAW 7/24/95 (They do some pretty crazy stuff for the era & these two have great chemistry) As I said above I'm really not sure what would be a great option. I know these are left field choices, I think they work pretty well without a lot of backstory.

Just gonna say, I think people overstate how important watching Jojo in sub is specifically for part 1. A lot of the “memes” are just sound bites you probably won’t care for on your first watch and can always have an editor show you a supercut of afterwards. I think the part 1 experience works better in dub with the English accents and general charm those actors give to those performances. That’s my opinion though.

1:10:15 - That 4Kids Miss Valentine actress DOES indeed sound very familiar. I looked her up. Amy Palant. She was Tails in the Sonic franchise until Colleen O'Shaughnessey took over in 2014. Palant also voiced "Various Characters" in Pokémon for years; which makes sense. That is a very Pokémon-type voice. 😆
