Wrestlemania 40, what a Mania man....this and 39 combined are weirdly nostalgic for me despite being pretty recent lol... .....Anyway, Heel Iyo, good times. Watching her as a heel here and in NXT and then comparing her to herself now is crazy, she's SO different, in a pretty short time too. Who'd have thought she's arguably be the most natural babyface in the company? Lol. Also it's funny during the reaction Marketa said she needed to see Bayley slap Iyo at least once...she did! Literally 10 seconds before that. You ALL looked away during that split second and ALL missed it lmfaooo.

Honestly, Night 1 looks kinda better than Night 2 this year. On paper. 3 women's matches as you said (really looking forward to Steph vs Liv, they might legit try and kill each other based on the build lmao) + Seth vs Gunther, Drew vs Fatu and Cody vs Randy (which might be a bit shit due to celeb crap, but you never know). And the Vision + Speed vs The Usos + Knight will probably be at least some silly fun if nothing else. Even moreso for them since they're more invested in the women in general (and the men involved in night 1 as well, like Seth, Gunther, Cody, Drew and Randy are all men they're invested in which is way more than the men on Night 2). Sucks Rana is gonna miss Rhea live though but I'm sure there'll be another chance lol. Honestly both cards in general look solid, it's just the buildup has been shite.

Another great one by The Dropkick Broads. Heel IYO never lets me down. This was an era. Damage CTRL played the heel role/ bully girls to a tee & it was the perfect transition of them turning on Bayley after she won the Rumble for her to become a face again. This was not in CA, this was Philly which is why they had the Liberty Bell incorporated in all the artwork. That was the point of the football reference by Pat McAfee. A 49ers fan (Bayley being born in San Fran) winning a championship in a Philly stadium. Bayley used all the pyramid designs to rep her hometown of the Bay where in 1892 artist Joaquin Miller built a pyramid there as a belief in the 10 Commandments. Also I loved the confusion of the crew when IYO reversed Bay’s 1st attempt of the Rose Plant with a headstand kip-up. That was a move Bayley did on the independent circuit before she joined WWE/NXT when she wrestled as Davina Rose, Rose being her real middle name. To make the complete change of being a super baby face to a villain, it helps to change your finisher sometimes, too. That’s why she brought it back🫡 Also @ 11:14 the crowd chant Rana is asking about is the wrestling remix the London fans made in December 2015 (NXT TakeOver London) for the 1961 Bruce Channel song Hey Baby! instead singing Hey Bayley! with the rest of the lyrics being the same. Last time WWE had a PPV event in London before that was 2003, so all the fans were just amped & London soccer/football games always have the wildest fan chants🫡
