I had high hopes for Wicked for Good, but it fell a bit short for me. I was really looking forward to a grand-scale animal uprising and some high-stakes action, but the pacing felt a little off. It’s ironic because the animals were the driving force of the plot, yet they felt sidelined. On the bright side, the 'Easter eggs' and hints, from the first, regarding the Wizard of Oz cast were definitely the highlight for me.

Yeah I had built it up in my head while I was watching the first one for the first time with the group. I was expecting the sister to become a much more prominent character, a real truly interesting back story for another Wicked Witch but they kind of fast forwarded over her stuff and then threw a tornado at her. This next statement I mean in the absolutely nicest way it can but it reminds me of that drawing you see of a horse on a meme where it is showing "You get what you pay for" Where it shows the first half of the horse as a beautiful detailed horse, the middle section, a somewhat good, detailed sketch, the back half is a child's first drawing of a horse. The back half was done with as much love as it could but it still does not compare when help up to the story telling of the first one, the quality is night and day.
