#WHA#SundayRundown. Hopefully you read this one ( or just see ) because I think it's a bit important regarding the end discussion. As someone who is both caught up to the manga and queer I can respectfully say that WHA is TURBO gay lol, no spoilers obviously, but events definitely happen and unfortunately when the anime was picking up in popularity and more people started reading the manga some outrage started, while I know Twitter is basically just ragebait at this point still people were saying all kinds of things like Kodansha was forcing Kamome Shirahama to include stuff because they are "western infected" and the UN was rigging the popularity since she did an interview with them discussing the success. ( The UN is woke apparently ) . Really I think it's just that based on her past works which also have queer representation and the fact she has a rainbow flag in her official Twitter bio for that past few years, Shirahama is either close with someone who is LGBT or maybe even identifies herself with it. Regardless I feel bad that some people today view Japan as Anti West and thus will discredit something from there when they show representation, despite eastern entertainment having representation for long before all the culture war stuff. It's why I think the success of Heated Rivalry and WHA are important since it shows these stories can exist and also have great representation of the LGBT community.

Meh

Love Navi's appreciation for the cape drip XD Small detail I actually appreciate is not EVERYONE takeing the test. I get why they do it, but I think it gets kind of annoying watching the newbie speed run an entire culture/profession, and Coco clearly shouldn't be ready for this yet. As for Riche from what they've said I think she clearly is just stubbornly affectionate toward her brother and become "uncoachably" obstinate when she became an apprentice before Qifrey. Just a question of how dark they're gonna get in terms of what may have happened to her brother. Also I could be wrong, but I thought the instructor in her flash back looked like it could've been Kukrow so betting he was either her first instructor or her brother's.
