#Sunday rundown just in my opinion I don't think Rhaenyra getting locked away had much of anything to do with her being a woman it's not often a king is allowed to put themselves in harm way for example King Henry II in real life Joffrey,Aegon even Robert said nobody let him do anything after becoming King it's too much of a risk

Also yall keep bringing up Rhaenyra going to dragon stone first she wasn't the queen in the middle of a war sounding crazy and not listening to anyone and yall keep saying Jace locked her up because she was his mother when he wanted to prove his worth also he knows he not full Targaryen now I give you at most a 1% chance she was locked away for being a woman more worried about a King having them killed but Jace was making sense she wanted to go to Kingslanding because the King mother promised she will let her win

Yeah you need to pay a bit more attention to the show you’re watching, the misogyny is definitely something the writers were drawing attention to - that’s why they have Rhaenyra say the line about having the heart of a king despite being in a woman’s body. Also, we see Kings go to war all the time in this world. Aegon fought at the Battle of Rook’s Rest last season, and this very episode we see Alicent telling Aemond (who is now king) to ride on Vhagar and face Daemon. Part of the point of that is to juxtapose Aemond’s respect with that of Rhaenyra. It happens many other times in the world. You reference Robert, but even after winning the throne he fought in the war during Balon’s Rebellion. Kings can pretty much do what they want, no King is going to be locked in the room by their own Kingsguard on the instructions of their son.

You misunderstood me I'm not saying their is no misogyny in the show the war started mostly because some people didn't want a woman ruler but her wanting to go into harms way right after talking crazily about going to Kingslanding and even their logic of her needing the opportunity to get the war experience is Jace point he wants the experience while it's still possible once he is Kings he will be protected as well think about it in chess terms Rhaenyra is the kings you don't have your king attack a rook if their are other options

That was my point that instant wasn't misogyny even with the aegon last season example not only did it turn out bad he wasn't supposed to do it and Alicent telling Aemond to go out is another bad example she is actually trying to set him up to be killed by the bastards dragons that are waiting for him and what are you talking about Robert's rebellion was the war that put him on the throne he said himself he hasn't been able to do much since being King also it's not like locking her up was a crazy ideal she did sneak into Kingslanding so she has been taken wild risk

#SundayRundown I'd be okay with pausing The Sopranos for The Godfather. I don't think it would be a popular decision though. Only watching for the first two movies is a bad call. Part 3 suffers by being a sequel to two of the greatest movies ever made but it's still a very good movie & it serves as an important conclusion to the story.

No one is saying it’s from Jace 🤦🏿‍♂️ it’s a structural, cultural issue. The misogyny isn’t Jace doing it, it’s everyone allowing it. It’s him being able to do it.

My goal every week is to have my reaction read for the wrestling content, so that was TOO SWEET! YES!! The Man Doc ended with the ‘19 WM35 Triple Threat Becky vs Charlotte vs Ronda. How’d I forget that epic buildup of the 3 of them being in a handcuffed brawl in the cop car🤣😂 Also Suraj, how do you not know who Blackheart Lio Rush is?? Have you been kidnapped & had all electronic devices confiscated?! Did someone use the Men In Black Neuralyzer on you?! Are you genuinely terrified every time he pops up on your screen?! Are you a long-lost child of Jim Cornette?? These are the only reasonable answers I’ll accept. I personally think the Dropkick Ladies are craving to meet HIM, but IT’S FINE⛱️🖤
