Sounds pretty cool if you wanted to see some of the older xmen show episodes.

Would love for you guys to rewatch certain classic episodes. Really want you guys to watch the Twelve storyline where Apocalypse abducts all of the worlds strongest telepaths.

#Sunday Rundown: When Rama-Tut/Kang says that Apocalypse must be challenged by a force that is "External", it's a reference to a specific group of Mutants known as the Externals in the comics. These 9 (the 10th is supposed to be Cannonball, but the comics kept going back and forth on whether that's true or not) mutants are, in addition to their other powers, immortal. The immortality doesn't activate with their other mutant powers, but upon their first death. So they're basically Mutant Highlanders. Apocalypse and Candra are both Externals, but I don't think any other Externals have made an appearance in the show (or in the original animated series, but I haven't seen every episode of that so I'm not 100% sure)

The reactions would feel incomplete without the discussions to sum up your feelings for the media you just watched, or at least I think. I'm sure the metrics show dropoffs when the viewing ends but there's still gold after the episode people!

Reynaldo Urena

The Celestial in this ep is Eson the Searcher, the one who appears in Eternals was Arishem the Judge, however Eson did appear in the 1st Guardians of the Galaxy movie in a flasback using the Power Stone to destroy a planet.

This may be a spoiler homie, two of them did appear in the og show but they were in the background of an episode and had no lines.

Apocalypse last line to Charles is doubly insulting because Magneto said it Rama Tut’s right hand Candra is an external, a rare sub species of mutant that’s immortal, like Apocalypse. She appeared for one Gambit centric episode of the original show as X-Ternal, balancing power between the Thieves and Assassins guilds, the former which Gambit used to be a part of

The original show isn’t THIS good, but a good chunk of it is pretty good. I watched it all to prep for 97 and it became my favorite iteration I still got a list ready for y’all. It’s kinda long though. Like…a little over half the show. Like I said, a good chunk is pretty good! And it could be longer! I have to exclude almost all of S1 because those episodes kinda domino into each other. Is doing the whole show an option? 😅 Also, X Men Evolution is a good slightly different take

sorry, did you mean that my comment is a spoiler, or your reply is?

Did something happen with the One Piece reaction this week? Cuz I don't see the notification in my email...🤷🏿‍♂️

# SUNDAY RUNDOWN!!! I really enjoyed your reactions! It would be awesome to see you guys react to some of the key episodes from the OG series. Here's my list: **Start with the introduction episodes:** * **Season 1, Episodes 1 & 2** **The Apocalypse-centered episodes:** * **Season 2, Episodes 9 & 10** * **Season 2, Episodes 11 & 12** * **Season 4, Episode 16 which gives you more info about Apocalypse ship** * **Season 4, Episodes 17, 18, 19 & 20 which include a great Magneto and Apocalypse fight** These episodes cover Apocalypse's return, the creation of the Four Horsemen, his history, and his biggest storyline in the original series. Also, **Season 2, Episode 6 ("X-Ternally Yours")** gives more information about the woman who was with Kang the Conqueror in *X-Men '97* (the External Candra) and provides some great backstory for Gambit. You can also include Season 1, Episode 7, which features the first appearance of Cable.

Step B.

Justice for X-Men Evolution. That show had no right being as good as it was

#Sunday Rundown: not to big, but I saw you all curious about the External comment left by Kang so I wanted to clarify, with no big spoilers. The Externals are a rare subspecies of mutants that have a unique additional mutation of immortality on top of their regular mutation. Still they can be killed, it just takes a lot. Apocalypse is an external and has died before. Next, I wanted to give you some insight to Apocalypse himself: first, he IS NOT the first mutant. Apocalypse has been widely considered the first mutant for a long time, but that title arguably belongs to a woman named Selene Gallio, or the Black Queen when she was part of the hellfire group (Emma Frost was known as the White Queen at the same time). Selene is roughly 17,000 years old, a full 12,000 years older than Apocalypse. Next, just how strong is Apocalypse really. His normal mutation was the full control over his own molecular makeup. He could change his size, strength, shapeshift, and more untop of being immortal. Then he combined with the tecno organic virus from the Celestial ship along with more of their tech that was left behind on earth from their first visit (the Celestials came to earth when humans were still a young species and did a bunch of experiments that resulted in the Eternals and the Deviants, the same guys from the movie, and many years later, a gene that would turn normal humans into mutants). Thanks to that, Apocalypse is a technopath that can communicate with technology and has vast energy manipulation abilities, as well as telepathy and the ability to simulate any other mutant ability. His blood can even heal mutants with a few drops. He is insanely powerful ...on Earth. Off world, Apocalypse really does not match up with the higher tier of power in Marvel. Even when compared to the stronger Omega Level mutants (Gabriel Summers AKA Vulcan, Magneto, yes Magneto, Jean Grey) or the very rare Beyond Omega Level mutants (Franklin Richards, Nate Grey) Apocalypse does not come close, the Phoenix fighting him would be like a coughing baby vs. an atomic bomb. So, in a flight between Thanos and Apocalypse, Apocalypse loses definitively. Thanos is just Apocalypse, but on a universal level. He is stronger (defeated characters like Thor and Blackbolt, both of whom have beaten Apocalypse before. Thor was younger and weaker at that time and didn't even have mjolnir, gone toe to toe with Galactus), smarter (genius intellect and strategist, outsmarted many cosmic beings to claim the Infinity gems during the Infinity saga, created his own infinity gem and trapped Death inside, creating the death gem), a sorcerer on the level of some of the best in marvel (cursed Deadpool with immortality so he couldn't die and be with Death). If you're going by the MCU, Thanos loses. In the comics, without the Infinity Gauntlet, he wins without question. And Darkseid is stronger than both of them.
