DC's new animated movie, Batman: Knightfall Part 1, just came out. The movie adapts the story involving Bane breaking Batman's back. It got great reviews and is considered one of the best Batman movies in a long time. We would all love it if you reacted to it. Part 2 comes out later this year and then Part 3 in 2027.

I love Aquaman in this show. Keep in mind, Aquaman was pretty much a joke prior to this. He was the water guy who could talk with fish. So I appreciate the show going 'fuck it, make this guy a badass and give him a hook hand!' This show sits in a perfectly unique place where a lot of DC lore wasn't written yet, so the writers got to go crazy with characters backstories. I can't wait for more!

#SundayRundown Pretty dark moments for the demographic of the show that they were able to get away with here. Orm trying to kill his brother & nephew, the offscreen chopping off of the hand with bloody bandaged stump & then Aquaman allowing his brother to fall to his death.

#SundayRundown: After leaving Aquaman and Aquababy to die Orm had the balls to ask Arthur to pull him up. It was dark but realistic. He didn't directly kill Orm but he did let him take the consequences of his actions. I enjoyed this one.

Just so you are aware, in season 1 the writers toned down Superman because they didn’t want him to overshadow the rest of the League. They went too far with it and it ended up being one of the main criticisms of the season. They fixed it in Season 2 though and he feels a lot more like the Superman you expect.

Please can we have double drops so we can get to Unlimited faster!!!

#SundayRundown! The moment where Arthur has to save Arthur Jr and the cost of that....what a scene!! Same with Orm's fall! Great reaction!! Loved you all pointing out the captions!! "Glug glug glug glug."

Yes, they also fixed his cheekbones as well lol (and Wonder Woman's!).

The talk in the discussion about how the Atlanteans execute Surface Dwellers made me conjure up a funny image in my head of the Atlanteans making them walk the plank pirate style, but instead of falling into the ocean from a pirate ship they just...walk out the door of an Atlantis ship and directly and literally into the ocean. And drown instantly lmao.

I do hope that from here on you guys do two parters a week and the three parters as a movie lol. Also, yeas Superman being neutered and older looking was a common complaint in the first season that the creators fix up in the next season. Though with this episode they could've explained that the Atlanteans are using magic, which Superman is also vulnerable too. Lastly, Bruce Timm in the behind the scenes admits that they came up with this dramatic reason for Aquaman losing his hand as he always thought it was silly how he lost it in the comics. I.E. it's gets bitten off by a piranha or something despite Aquaman being able to communicate with fish lol 😅. It's definitely a good change or addition 🤔.

Yeah Cartoon Network at one point in the was trying to skew older with some of their cartoon shows and this was a part of that. It even affected the tone of The PowerPuff Girls movie and made that film more serious than it needed to be 🤔.
