Suraj, Spidey, Chris, and Pat watch Snowfall, Season 6 Episode 9. Louie's house is raided by the DEA and she is rescued by Buckley. Suspecting that he lied to her, she forces him at gunpoint to confirm he missed Jerome's call and takes his car. Franklin takes Rubén and Teddy to a stash house and sees Gustavo off as he leaves for Mexico. Teddy claims to Cissy that he had Alton arrested and can take her to him. When Veronique warns Franklin that they are soon going to lose one of their properties, she helps him torture Teddy. Franklin asks why he stole from him, and Teddy reveals that he only did it because he was hurt Franklin stopped doing business with him, and they agree to split the money evenly. Franklin agrees to give Havemeyer Rubén and Teddy. Enraged that he is letting Teddy go, Cissy insists on accompanying him to the drop but promises Franklin that they will never speak again afterwards. Remember the season finale of Season 3? Franklin’s life in that dream. Even grasp at the idea of Franklin being recruited by Teddy into the CIA. The conversation between the two at the end of that episode. Teddy did not shake Franklin’s hand when he told Teddy they’d go off “into the sunset.”

Franklin did know ahead of time. Remember when he had the convo with Oso last episode and oso asked if he was gonna tell her and franklin said no bc it would spook her before she could help them get teddy??

Franklin definitely deserved that tho. All the killing and lives hes ruined, he didnt deserve a happy ending. Imagine your parents were on crack because some guy introduced it to the neighborhood, and then u find out the guy that guy got 73 million. F him 😂

Cissy POINTEDLY killed Teddy before the transaction went through. She reasonably believed if not Teddy, the CIA would hunt him down and kill him eventually after he succeeded in getting his money (in this case in part) back from him. She also worried getting this money back (at this point) would permanently corrupt him.

Cissy didn’t care about that. Cissy saw that Franklin was too far gone and he was not going to stop being a monster. And at the point, the one person she had to live for is now without a shadow of a doubt dead. It was a fuck you to Franklin

I feel like Snowfall is one of those only shows that has a close to perfect ending. Everybody got the ending they deserved and this moment when Cissy killed Teddy, is still a heavily debated moment till this day. Any random day you’ll see people tweet and argue about what Cissy did lol.

🎯🎯🎯🎯 People always misunderstand this. Killing Teddy was an indictment of Franklin and revenge for Alton at once. She decided Franklin shouldn’t have that money.
