2026-10-06 05:00 The main cast's reaction to Orihime's sacrifice surprised me at first, and it even felt underwhelming until Yhwach's comments. He said he also wants a world without suffering, just like Orihime did by rejecting all the world's pain, which explains the cast's subdued reaction. This shows the flaw of such a world, as without such pain/fear/despair, people would not be courageous enough to overcome their obstacles and grow to become better. I love how it implies that even with all she has showcased so far, Orihime still has room to grow, as she needs to understand the importance of experiencing struggles in one's life. It is a good intention for sure, wanting to remove suffering from others' world, but Kubo is saying that it would be counterproductive in the end. Jugram and his coping. He thinks he can hide what he feels through cope. We clearly saw the glove taking effect, as he still had the Almighty when Uryu broke the glove. That means this "explanation" from Jugram is him trying to cope with how he lost access to Yhwach's powers, imo. Haschwalth's definitely affected by it due to his devotion, and just like he coped after killing Bazz-B, he's doing the same here. If you go back to the end of ep 45, Uryu activating the glove stripped Jugram of his powers, essentially sending the remaining portion of the Almighty back to Yhwach, which enabled him to rewrite reality. Orihime was already rejecting him when he got back the entirety of the power, so he was forced to bring her back as well. This might feel like Yhwach got lucky, but that is exactly what he is. He is fate itself. He just exists, and everything goes in his favour. Uryu essentially saved us from this doomed timeline. While Yhwach would have been dead, we would have also lost Orihime and Ichigo would have become the next Soul King and be stuck in a crystal with a world that can't grow too.

While Yhwach would have been dead, we would have also lost Orihime and Ichigo would have become the next Soul King and be stuck in a crystal with a world that can't grow too. The Uryu-Jugram dynamic reminds me so much of Ichigo-Ginjo. Uryu's speech on friendship hits so hard, and Jugram's reaction as well. I'm sure he thought for a moment about whether I would have had this with Bazz as well if he had made a different choice. I feel for Jugram as he thinks he needs to forsake things to balance things out, but as Uryu put it into perspective, you don't have to, as you gain something greater by being with your friends that can't be expressed. Navi's right. Yhwach used Auswahlen on Jugram, and he even says that it was for this moment that I needed you, my son. He's talking to Ichigo, but he's also talking to Jugram, too, as we immediately cut to Jugram after Yhwach said those words. This is Ichigo's True Bankai. His view on despair and overcoming it time and time again, and how he called out the name Tensa Zangetsu, portrays the Bankai for what it is. It is the pinnacle of Ichigo's self-actualisation, and Yhwach being fate itself just decimates it. This is a spectacular moment in the manga, as Yhwach used the manga medium itself to break the sword with a page turn. The anime could never have matched it, tbf. Yhwach is a very complex character. That also makes him most susceptible to being easily misunderstood. When he says do not lose hope, it might seem condescending, but that is genuinely what he feels. It is tied to his characterisation. Ichigo clocks in on it when he says Yhwach fears both hope and despair, to which Yhwach had no rebuttal for the first time, even with the Almighty. Navi was right the first time. The B symbol on Jugram's sword was the B pin Bazz gave him when they first met. Jugram's conclusion is so powerful. It is kind of like Ulquiorra's, but so much more layered. One can interpret that he's coping with what Yhwach did by saying that he has no regrets, as his decision eventually led him to a place where even Yhwach did not need him moving forward. But another interpretation is that he's saying that he has no regrets, as it was the decision that he made that helped him to realise Bazz's worth through Uryu, even if it was at death's door. Funnily enough, both interpretations balance each other out, which plays into Jugram's Schrift. It could also be a case where both interpretations are right, which also aligns with his power. Jugram was likely to have a pitiful end, but he was able to wrestle his fate by reaffirming his beliefs, giving him a better end than most expected.

Yhwach tried to take Uryu's powers years ago but couldn't do it for some reason (things are not straightforward here, especially after the flashback we saw at the start of ep 40). Yhwach assumed that it was because Uryu's powers rivalled his own. So rather than waiting for Uryu to come against him with an unknown power, he might have concluded that it was better to keep Uryu closer and understand his power by helping Uryu awaken it so that he would be prepared to deal with it. It might seem counterintuitive, but as things have always worked out for him, even when he actively does not take action, he's probably assuming that would happen here as well.

2026-10-06 05:00 It’s crazy to imagine that the only time Uryu ever used the Antithesis in the manga was to reverse the wounds he had back on onto Jugram like the 2 times you saw this episode. But the anime added so much more utility to the ability before anime onlys could understand before it was explained and allow me to list them. 1. First time he uses it was when Yhwach throws a medallion out of the cage from Kirio of Squad 0 and Uryu switches the places of Yhwach and the medallion, so Yhwach can escape the cage. 2. Uryu uses the Antithesis against Senjumaru of Squad 0, so he can trap her in her own Bankai which is how she lost after he finished her off with an arrow. 3. Uryu puts on the Sanrei Glove and forcefully swaps it onto Jugram’s hand which would remove his powers after forcefully taking it off. Sadly when Uryu did this, it gave Yhwach the Almighty back which undid his death but also Orihime’s death on the bright side. It’s the ability to reverse any outcome or event that has already occurred between 2 targets of his choosing.

2026-10-06 13:00 No Navi! You were correct! The B on Jugram’s sword was Bazz B’s emblem that was given to him when they first met. Kubo intentionally gave their shrifts letters that start with their names: Jugram Hashwalth: Sternritter B(azz B) Bazzard Black: Sternritter H(aschwalth)

Appearance: While Uryu and his grandfather Sōken use a long white glove that climbs up the forearm, the Wandenreich version is often a darker variant or wrist-length device marked with their official crest. How It Works * Repels Reishi: The item actively pushes spirit particles away from the user. * Intense Training: Forming a basic spirit weapon like a bow becomes a massive struggle. * Power Boost: A Quincy who endures a week of harsh training while wearing it can unlock extreme levels of spiritual power. * Wandenreich Usage- Vollständig Activation: Unlike Uryu's traditional training method tied to Letzt Stil, many members of the Wandenreich (such as Quilge Opie and Bambietta Basterbine) use a glove or variation of the Leiden Hant to help activate their Quincy: Vollständig state. However, just as every single one of those spiritual (reishi) particles scatter (like Byakuya’s Senbonzakura) is grains of sand possibilities of the future that Yhwach can simply use and choose from, altering the future, which is the very true power of the Almighty. This was not at all being used during his fight with Ichigo, he was simply just that powerful with the Soul King absorbed but was overpowered by something foreshadowed that Aizen described “Overcomes the limits of God’s established phenomena. A power that encroaches on the realm of the gods” Unfortunately as we see here now that was still not enough before the Almighty, yet was still enough to erase a Soul King amped Yhwach when no one else could with the power of rejection. So it wasn’t all for nothing as it pushed him to the brink now forced to use nothing else. Another thing to note is ‪Ichigo’s “Horn Of Salvation” is Half-Hollowified, the Blood Chains form acts as more of his very own Resurrecìon represented by the long sword, while Tensa Zangetsu as his Quincy Powers being represented by the Sheath scabbard small blade, and once mixed together becomes its own Chained Blade as the amalgamated True Bankai we have yet to see. Just when we thought we’ve seen all there is to Ichigo and finally saw it in the last Ep. Multilayered like nobody’s business and based on Yhwach’s reaction, that was a huge Nope! of power. Although the Meta reason is It broke cause it symbolizes that its power is broken, literally. The ability to shatter fate….. Ichigo likely didn’t use this immediately since he’s never used it before and realized that hollow powers are poison against Quincy. Bleach TYBW Episode 46- “The End” Keyword Page Rokuten Shishun (Six Heavens Death Shield) “This is the full power of Shun Shun Rikka (Shield of the Six Flowers) Faced with the reality of being a weak and insignificant human, Orihime Inoue, yearning for great power to protect those she cherishes, unleashed the ‘Final Shield’ by sacrificing her own soul, unleashing the power of all six Rikka. It can reject battle, pain, suffering—and everything in a world she does not desire—but it is the ultimate rejection, as Orihime herself cannot remain in that world”

Regarding Ep 45 🔥BLEACH🔥 Cinema Greatness! 🙌 This episode is packed with major anime-original content. The only episodes that come close in originality were Eps 26, 30, and 33. Whether you’re an anime-only or a manga reader, nothing could have prepared us for this one. And the best part is this still isn’t the peak of the part or the arc (keep an eye on Episode 49 — it has the potential to be one of the best in the entire series). This might already be anime of the year material. Orihime out here with the defensive amps protecting her man as best as she could like nobody’s business finally living up to the sword to his shield. This was foreshadowed by Aizen when he said “This is a rejection of phenomenon.” “Her power limits, rejects, and negates events that happen to an object. She has the power to return things to their state before things happened to them.” “It’s above time regression and space regression… “It is a power that encroaches on the realm of the gods.” A true goddess and Wifey for Lifey with Peak Femininity. To all men, Find yourselves a woman like that fellas, never settle for anything less. To all the haters that find her to be too annoyingly and innocently nice, and ppl that only focus on her natural fully developed body or “Kurosaki-Kun” mutters out of her love & care for him, She Rejects!!!! Ichigo’s new form feels like it could be a teaser in itself for what’s still coming, so it’s hard to talk about without spoiling. Let’s just say it hits on a similar level to Episode 6 — not just in the animation, but in the weight of what it happens. What I will say is that his GetsugaTenshō was always meant to resemble the moon as it translates to “Moon-Fang-Heaven-Piercer”. Everything from the art & animation, pacing, soundtrack, direction, storyboard, voice acting, compositing, sound design, to the emotional impact (especially the ending) is a masterpiece. Massive thanks to Kubo, director Tomohisa Taguchi, and everyone at Pierrot Films. They’re firing on all cylinders with this finale, especially this episode, for the 10th anniversary since the original end of the manga on Aug 22nd, dedicated to none other than ICHIGOAT & AURAHIME! Last thing regarding the reaction, Navi is hilarious with the jab of the opening song not playing during the credits, saying that Bleach hasn’t seen JJK when this isn’t JJK but better, can you imagine if the opening played immediately after Orihime’s sacrifice? That would’ve been downright terrible taking away from it, that’s why they played the actual ending song instead, which completely fits the scene, unlike when it didn’t fit in JJK after Yuji saw the devastation of Shibuya.

#SundayRundown PLEASE READ 🙏 This is a long one as there’s a lot to explain as well as for those that missed or didn’t see last Ep’s breakdown so please bear with me, skim through it if you must- Anyways Now that Uryu’s Schrift the Antithesis has been revealed, here is the complete Quincy SternRitter Schrift alphabet and list of abilities A-The Almighty: Yhwach A.2- The Antithesis: Uryu Ishida B-The Balance: Jugram Haschwalth C-The Compulsory: Pernida Parnkgjas D-The Death Dealing: Askin Nakk Le Vaar E-The Explode: Bambietta Basterbine F-The Fear: Äs Nödt G-The Glutton: Liltotto Lamperd H-The Heat: Bazz-B I-The Iron: Cang Du J-The Jail: Quilge Opie K-The Knowledge: BG-9 L-The Love: PePe Waccabrada M-The Miracle: Gerard Valkyrie N-The Nimble: Robert Accutrone O-The Overkill: Driscoll Berci P-The Power: Meninas McAllon Q-The Question: Berenice Gabrielli R-The Roar: Jerome Guizbatt S-The Superstar: Mask De Masculine & James T-Thunderbolt: Candice Catnipp U-The Underbelly: NaNaNa Najahkoop V-The Visionary: Gremmy Thoumeaux W-The Wind: Nianzol Weazol X-The X-Axis: Lille Barro Y-The Yourself: Royd Lloyd & Loyd Lloyd Z-The Zombie: Giselle Gewelle Damn, it’s tragic Ichigo was really willing to sacrifice his life to become the new soul king, he couldn’t bear to live in a world without Orihime… Since this is clearly a set up Ep, at the end of the last one Uyru nearly both coincidentally saved Orihime during her sacrifice on Yhwach-and who he accidentally saved with the “Leiden Hant” or Sanrei (Scattered Spirits) Glove in an attempt to take the Almighty away from Hashwalth, which then transferred back to Yhwach just in time before he was erased.

#SundayRundown So one thing that you guys might not have understood, don't worry a lot of others reactors didn't either is that from cour 4 ep 1-5 Ywach could not see the future and did not have the almighty until now. All the episodes have e stuff to love about them in this one I love how it showcases Ywach. As you saw it plays on hope and despair. Orihime created a large ray of hope last episode and then Ywach destroyed it. He is a true big bad, he gives the feeling of a true "final" villain. Few other villains give this feeling of "Oh shit, can we actually win?" Which just elevates him so high for me. You're not just gonna get a super hero power up, be stronger than him and win the day. Nah, you need more than that. And that is the despair a villain should give the character and the viewer in my opinion. And I love his speeches when you actually listen to them and aren't just mad because of the moment. Imagine someone is beating your ass and they're like "Wait, don't give up. You can do this! You can still have hope!" The villain is encouraging the hero to not give in to despair and stand back up and fight. And he's sincere about it! He's not mocking him, he wants him to have hope! That's insane. He is DIABOLICAL!!! And my favorite part was after Ichigo gave his speech about understanding despair and overcoming Ywach throws it back in his face after handling his friends right in front of him as he could do nothing and "You have overcome despair, that is true. Do you know why you did?" He walks him down as you can see the hopelessness in Ichigo's eyes. "Because I wasn't there." To tell ichigo he's nothing like his previous enemies and that he is BUILT DIFFERENT. This episode is a great showcase of true series finale villain. There are few villains that can give that feeling of "Could we actually lose?" Ywach is "THE BIG BAD" "THE CLIMACTIC ANTAGONIST" In almost every way an antagonist should be. Also when Ywach says this moment he's not talking about every individual moment. He's talking about Ichigo's entire existence, this whole war. This moment in history.

According to Q&A #281 by Tite Kubo on his fansite "Klub Outside", Yhwach can see in advance which Schrift a chosen Quincy would receive on their soul, and thus selects Quincy to empower based on those criteria, both concerning the power and which letters are unaccounted for.

Sofiane Guillaume

I just hope Chris will watch the episodes that he hasn't, and post his reactions, like he did in the first cour

#SundayRundownBleach Bankai. I like that word…. Another banger episode with some very dark implications. We pick up right after Orihime’s sacrifice and you can see how bad it affected Ichigo given that he instantly tried to become the new soul King even though that would mean being in a crystal for all eternity. But right after Yuha revealed his most dangerous power and really drove the party into despair. Meanwhile, Uryu really gave his all to defeat Jugram and we finally know their schrifts. The Balance works like this: if something good or fortunate happened to you in Jugram vecinity he can give you misfortune in equal amount, this can take any form or effect he chosses. The Antithesis Works by reversing the efects of two different points, Uryu has used this to teleport or Exchange wounds. The way this interacted was like a battle of uno reverse, the difference was that Uryu had an uno reverse while Jugram had an uno reverse with a +2, so if they kept going Uryu would have lost first to the damage. Luckily, Juha used an Auswallen to absorb Jugram’s power, giving Uryu the victory. Jugram is a very complex carácter since we see at the end his regrets, he has been testing Uryu to reinforce his decision to kill Bazz-B, but Uryu chose different and that consume him form the inside. At the end he betrays Juha in his own way and helps Uryu, and in his final moments he tries to delude himself but we are shown the pin Bazz gave him, showing how he never forgot him and a physical proof of his regret

ChipHand Z

My understanding is that the Liden Handt Uryu activated didn't send the Almighty back to Ywach, but that it was because it was morning their Shrifts swapped again. He did however successfully use the glove to get rid of all of the Soul King power Ywach allocated to him, which still evened the playing field quite a bit.

dero45

So did yuha just confirm we following him now and the original cast we been follow is in a dimension where orihime sacrificed her soul and ichigo became the soul king

#SundayRundown #BLEACH I get what you're saying, Suraj. It IS frustrating the way hope and despair keep repeating over and over again the way they do with Yhwach. The reason I don't find it "repetitive" or annoying (other than being annoyed and frustrated the way Kubo wants me to be for the story) is that the way this is playing out is turning not just the typical shounen trope on its head, but also specifically the way "BLEACH" works. All this time, 2 things have consistently happened when it comes to battle. First, Ichigo gets his ass kicked, but survives, and uses this as an opportunity to introspect, gaining more knowledge about himself and then gaining an immense power-up; usually through an insanely dangerous training method that is only used out of desperation, since they have no time. Second, Ichigo rematches the opponent, and this time, is able to use his unique battle ability when clashing swords with someone: sensing the truth within their soul. In this way, he comes to understand them on a deeply personal level, and defeats them both by defying their world view AND defying them physically. Both of these things keep happening with Yhwach...AND THEY KEEP FAILING! Ichigo gets his ass whooped, then, through introspection, pulls out a desperate move that MUST be used to save everyone, even though he's had no time to practice with it, THEN Ichigo clashes swords with Yhwach, comes to an understanding about his soul (or at least tries to), and attempts to throw that back at him as he's done with all his other villains. This is why he tells Yhwach in this episode "You call it The Almighty, yet you are unable to see into peoples hearts." And yet...IT DOESN'T WORK! NONE OF IT WORKS! And it feels fundamentally WRONG; both from a general anime perspective, and specifically for this show. That is, of course, the point. Again, I get your argument, but I think it works for a final boss of the whole series. Certainly better than Kaguya worked for "Naruto". 😉

Meh

OBVIOUSLY ONLY DON KANOJI CAN SAVE THE 3 WORLDS XD

MyDude SnakePlisskin

Well yeah, Ywach says the same thing over and over because he's a poorly written villain lol He's what a fourteen year old thinks a good villain is. He's basically the kid on the playground with the "everything-proof shield". It's boring.

iman

Yuha altering the timeline unironically saved Ichigo and Orihime from their respective bad ends. Orihime would have been gone and Ichigo would have been the next soul king. Which seamlessly transitions to this little manga that an artist drew about Tatsuki reacting to their potential fate. https://x.com/MYBEAUTIFULIAR/status/2093896787174052163

Gaen RDN

Did u js say "crazy to imagine"👀👀👀

Gaen RDN

This is how they're gonna defeat Yhwach

Castiel_01x

That's what Jugram tells us. But if you go back to the sequence we see that Jugram still has the Almighty at the time of activation. That's what led to my conclusion.

Michael Acuna

The cool combo they never got to use back at their duel, lol.

Michael Acuna

It's sweet knowing they both had something from each other.

Adan Guzman

Navi: “Is that Bazz B? No it was just for the Balance.” No Navi! You were correct! The B on Jugram’s sword was Bazz B’s emblem that was given to him when they first met as kids and kept it all those years. Kubo also intentionally gave their schrift letters that start with their names: Jugram Hashwalth: Sternritter B (azz B) Bazzard Black: Sternritter H (aschwalth)

Phil

Jugram Haschwalth lived exactly how he died....glazing Yhwach till the very end RIP the #1 Yhwach Glazer 🙏

Raz

Uryu didn't get his power from Yhwach, none of the quincies get their power from him, it's the complete opposite. Quincies have innate powers and many of them can only awaken them when they take in a piece of Yhwach's soul (the ritual where they drink his blood). Yhwach has essentially only 2 powers. 1) The power to share and merge a piece of his soul with another being's. 2) The power to take back his piece of soul from that being. When he takes back that piece of soul he also drags along the host's soul, and thus powers. It's similar to what Stark did. Both have the ability to split their souls into pieces, except Stark's souls can manifest into new beings, like Lillinette or those wolves he calls out, while Yhwach uses his pieces of soul to embed them into other beings, give them power and merge with them. That's why the Auswählen kills the host, it's the act of taking back his soul, which also rips off the host's soul, thus killing them. Before he absorbed the Soul King, the only exceptions to this rule were: Lil Barro, Pernida, Gerard. Those 3 have completely developed their innate powers all by themselves. However, after absorbing the Soul King, I think he gained the ability to absorb Pernida and Gerard. Pernida was the Soul King's left arm. Gerard was the Soul King's heart. Which probably makes Lile Barro the only Quincy that cannot be absorbed by Yhwach, unless I'm missing something. Also, probaly Uryu too, he could just reverse the Auswählen.

Dayvon Rose

The one thing I can respect so far about this cour is how it gets rid of a lot of "What Ifs" that people may have. Everyone getting to try everything they can possibly think of just to either fail or knock down another domino in the inevitable end is brilliant. It also shows just how much Yhwach have to do just to remain on top. Sure he seems unbeatable but only because of the amount of sacrifices he's made. None of the people on the hero side has had to make sacrifices like he has, they've instead only propped each other up and are still willing to stand against him. (I don't count Ukitake because of his unique situation with Mimihagi).

BindingofNack

Quite possibly the culmination of Bleach's "you activated my trap card" philosophy regarding powersets and abilities, for such a series it's only fitting that it's final challenge is how to counteract what is essentially God.

BXAA

He repeats himself because people trying fighting him despite knowing his ability makes no sense to him.

iman

We actually see it during their fight for a split second too, it was right in front of us this whole time

Christy

I also love that they briefly show the area where Haschwalth killed Bazz-B before showing the emblem. Haschwalth definitely struggles with having regrets about his friend and wishing to be like Uryu in a way but also needing to stay true to his goal of being the other to Yhwach because if he is useful then that makes leaving his friend worth it. He needs it to be worth it because he can't really accept if he made the "wrong" choice.

#SundayRundown yoooooo Normies It’s been a while I haven’t subscribed to you guys patreon since Naruto. I’ve been a fan of you guys since like I believe late 2019 early 2020. Just wanted to mention some Bleach information I don’t think others relayed to you guys. Remember when Byakuya seemingly died?? There were rumors over the years that he actually was supposed to die but Tite Kubo unfortunately got death threats from fans and that influenced him to change the plot of his death. But, then later on it was found out that actually wasn’t true, and then they were like well actually it was Toshiro. At the end of the day the point of this is that when it comes to the anime/manga community you just gotta distance yourself from the people sometimes. Unfortunately the anime/manga communities can be very toxic, there’s blatant racism, sexism, homophobia, and you’ll even run into some people who might need their hard drives searched. Kubo has been harassed by Ichirukia fans, but I’m glad he’s finally never gave into to it. There’s lots of manga authors who have gotten death threats over the years for things, but this is already long as hell so I’m done lol, but glad to see you guys are still keeping the grind going love you guys much love🫶🖤 favorite anime Naruto by the way.
