Reacting to One Piece 127 + 128 | A Farewell to Arms | The Normies Group Reaction!

Chris, Suraj, and Rana present their review and reaction to One Piece: East Blue Episode 127, "All the King's Men" AKA "A Farewell to Arms! Pirates and Different Ideas of Justice!" , as well as Episode 128 "The Turn of the Two" AKA "Pirates' Banquet and Operation Escape from Alabasta!" ---------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 127 Summary Despite the rain falling, some rebels still wish to fight, but Igaram appears with proof of Cobra's innocence, as well as Koza telling everything the truth. The Straw Hats meet with Vivi's father, and they collapse from their wounds, but Tashigi orders the marines under her command not to capture them. Tashigi and Smoker both are rewarded for taking on Crocodile, but neither one of them believes that is right, considering the Straw Hat Pirates did all the work to defeat Crocodile ---------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 128 Summary Luffy is rescued from the collapsed tomb where he fought Crocodile and brought into Cobra's palace to rest. When he awakens, a magnificent banquet is thrown for the pirates, then, the Straw Hats are invited to enjoy the hot spring steam room inside the palace. Igaram receives word that Luffy's bounty has increased to 100 million Berries and Zoro has a 60 million berry bounty. However, the Straw Hats have already left, having been told by Mr. 2 to meet him to pick up their ship and evade the blockade. They tell Vivi that if she wishes to join, she must meet them in twelve hours ---------------------------------------------------------------- Acknowledgement One Piece is an original series written by Oda Eiichiro. This really is such a great stretch of episodes!

#SundayRundown While many people also interpreted Smoker the same way, that he secretly used the Dance Powder, you guys forgot something. I don't think he used it because of this. Dance Powder creates rain by stealing it from downwind. Crocodile's ship was blasting rain upwind of the island for 3 years nonstop. Smoker left specifically to collect it as evidence and to stop the drought. He *Stopped* the Dance Powder upwind so all that rain was free to return. The timing with Luffy beating Crocodile was just luck. I like to think the sky bomb also created a pocket of low pressure which makes rain come easier. But maybe Smoker just used it and lied, I can't know.

MY GIRL BLACK CAGE HINA!!!

#SundayRundown #OnePiece Here we are again with Oda's favorite thing: PARTY/EATING SCENES! For some reason, these 2 comedown episodes contain some of the strongest memories from the show that have stuck with me through the years. Vivi looking at the rain (as a rain-lover myself I can relate). Tashigi crying. Smoker telling the brass to go to hell. Luffy calculating his number of meals. Luffy instantly vaporizing a wheelbarrow full of fruit in a split-second. The DDR music Jango & Fullbody are dancing to after capturing a boat. OH! So, he totally deserves it, but it's still hilarious how, every time Ironfist Fullbody shows up, you all completely forget who he is. 😂 So for like the third time: He was the dude who fired a canon at the Going Merry when they first got to Baratie, which Luffy accidentally redirected to the restaurant; which is how he got in trouble. Then Fullbody proceeded to get his ass kicked by Sanji after disrespecting the soup he was served. We've seen him here and there since then, and now we see that he's partnered up with Jango under command of Hina.

Such unprovoked hate directed at my bro Sanji and our dear Bon Clay. They don’t deserve all this! One was genuinely concerned and trying to comfort Nami-chaaaaan, while the other truly wanted to help and protect his new mugiwara friends. JUSTICE FOR MY BOYS!!

Sanglupo

Don't know where they got the idea that Naruto eats a lot? He just has a favorite food, Choji is the one that can eat a lot.

#SundayRundown #OnePiece Crocodile being unconscious is what caused the rain (symbolically, but also scientifically). Strong characters with such a deep level of understanding of their logia (elemental) devil fruit can change the weather of the island they are on. We saw it briefly in Drum Island during Ace's flashback asking the residents about Luffy (EP 91). Drum Island is a winter island where it snows every day, but according to the residents, the day that Ace stayed on the island it strangely didn't snow at all. Also, the subtitles overlook it but Hina (the Marine captain, who holds the same rank as Smoker) always talks in the third person. For example, she doesn't say "I'm disappointed"; she says "Hina is disappointed."

Miasimon

Smoker is a prime example of an antagonist that isn't a villain. And the Bonchan slander is crazy lmao.

Just 2 More episodes nd then on to JAYA!!!!

Jango actually has a whole cover story of how he and Fullbody joined the Marines which is the 3rd cover story in the series after Buggy’s and Koby’s. There’s a video that’s told in narration: https://youtu.be/yDwMGo_8Z1I?is=RxQ3xhEH3BYPiLpZ BUT if you rather have the abridged version, then here goes: Remember that Jango was the only Black Cat pirate to make it past the hill to Usopp’s village to kill Kaya. He was left behind when Luffy scared the pirates into leaving. After being chased off the island himself, he wandered onto another island and had a dance contest under disguise and met Fullbody as a fellow participant (the guy Sanji beat up at the Baratie restaurant). Jango wins the contest but he and Fullbody bond over their love of dance. After some pirates attack the island, Jango helps defeat them blowing his cover as a pirate himself which leads to Fullbody taking him in to court. After bonding, Fullbody actually asks for Jango to be pardoned for his crimes in exchange to getting demoted from lieutenant and it worked after making even the judges dance along. About to go their separate ways, both of them spot Captain Hina walking by and then were quick to enlist as her subordinates after simping hard for her.

We're in the hundreds, boyss $$$ (as in bounties)!! Now that is Grand Line worthy. I heard what you did during next episode reactions - reading the episode titles - right on time for the 2nd most spoilery episode title of the show 😭Didn't Navi and Keta tell yall to NEVER read the titles 😂 Whatever. But the post-fight Alabasta eps are just great.
