Ghostbusters 1 is a classic, Ghostbusters 2 is fun and memorable to me, never saw the 2018 version Ghostbusters Afterlife is good and I recommend watching it, Ghostbusters Frozen Empire can be taken as good or meh. I had fun with it though.

YOU HAVE TO WATCH PART 2. ABSOLUTE MUST SEE.

Ghostbusters 2 is awesome and insanely underrated. Everything after that is skippable. But the 2nd film is one of the most unfairly maligned films ever made. Thankfully it’s appreciation has grown significantly over the years

Afterlife is great- if you watch it relatively soon after watching this, it hits different in a good way. And Afterlife will make you want to watch Frozen Empire.

#SundayRundown And nobody ever wants to address the fact that some random ghost or ghosts basically skeeted all over that library (guess bustin' made them feel good :-) ).

Huge disagree. I say this as a massive fan of both films & the two cartoons. There hasn’t been a decent Ghostbusters movie made since 1989. Afterlife feels like a rip off of the whole “kids involved in small town mystery” we’ve seen in movies like Goonies, Monster Squad, E.T, IT, Stranger Things. It even has one of the main actors from stranger things. Ghostbusters Jr isn’t my idea of a good sequel. And I find the end a massive dishonour to the actor. It’s a cheap maudlin he would’ve HATED. He was a comedy writer & they went for sentiment over comedy.
