I still remember watching a marathon on Toonami leading up to this episode back in 2007. 100 episodes 1 weekend it was great watching Naruto all day, I did miss a few episodes as it started early in the morning and ended before Adult Swim. Reminder that Lee's injuries wasn't from opening the gates. I'm 99% sure his injuries were from Gaara quite literally crushed his limbs like bugs. His bones were practically dust. I'm surprised he didn't have a jelly arm and jelly leg after that fight.

Don't misunderstand, you can use the gates and be fine (just not the eight, you'll die) The problem with Rock Lee is not that he used the fifth gate, it's the fact that Gaara crushed his bones. The downside from using the gates is that you have to finish your enemy off. If you don't you are useless for several minutes. It's a "ultimate move" if you will. Dangerous for the caster and the enemy.

There's 720 episodes total (canon + filler). 220 in Naruto and 500 in Shippuden. You only have around 31canon episodes left to finish Naruto and start Shippuden.

Headband colors dont mean anything. the only thing that matters is the metal plate that identifies your village, the head band can be hot pink if they wanted it. navy or black just seems to be the generic colors.

I'm curious as to who told you guys you have to skip the filler arc leading up to episode 107. The end of that arc hints at the upcoming arc (ep 107 onward). Meh. I suppose it's not so bad at least you're reacting ❤

Assuming you guys don't watch filler, you have about "332" episodes of Naruto left in total. "36" in Naruto and "296" in Naruto Shippuden.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Lee is hospitalized & unable to be a shinobi isn't because he used the Fifth Gate, but because Gaara crushed his bones & muscles.

No, Tsunade would've been able to easily fix broken bones. The reason he's in the hospital is because after using the Hidden Lotus, his bones and muscles were toast and then Gaara crushed his right side adding insult to injury. Mostly it's because of the Eigth Inner Gates

No, the Hidden Lotus is part of the First Gate. The reason he couldn't be a ninja again is because Gaara crushed his right leg & arm, and the bone fragments got embedded into his spine. Might Guy can open the first Six Gates no issue, and Rock Lee opened the First Five multiple times during training (while he was learning it) and didn't suffer drawbacks either.
