I was hoping they'd react to The Boys, but I guess this'll do

No thanks. I don't acknowledge this TV show, I won't watch it or any reactions to it. Alan Moore for life.

No Suraj? I'm shocked you can keep him away from a Lindelof show.

yeah wtf, I only just realised. Who will point out which bits are and are not like Lost??? Also we need a Leftovers reaction

It's extremely interesting watching people who are only vaguely familiar with the source material watch this. Like the comment about Rorschach. He was always a racist, the movie softened him to make him sympathetic. I am not complaining at all. I am actually excited to see how the show lands on people without those connections. Especially because this show is amazing. One of the best Pilot's I have ever seen to a show.

Just to let you guys know, this show is a sequel to the graphic novel/comic series, not the movie. It seemed like there was confusion that this is tied to what happens in the movie like the ending with Dr. Manhattan, which it is not. It's going off the canon with the squid attack on New York.

They, at least Chris and Marketa, know the source material, they just did a book club thing about it two weeks ago.

Please get Suraj for the next one. This series feels incomplete without him.

The kids at the dinner table said President Redford was the current president. It sounds like that might be Robert Redford. Also Rorschach is such an interesting character that most people don't seem to realize that he's a crazy extremist when they read Watchmen. But he is a crazy extremist nonetheless.

I'm also assuming the show will gradually catch up people who haven't read the graphic novel on the most relevant/important info.

When is episode 2 coming?
