Anonymous

Shikamaru is the best!

MojoJojoGojo

Yall gonna be Genin til Boruto my guy loomao

Nick

aight shikamaru is cool and all but tenten is still best character of the series don't @ me

Anonymous

This arc is imprinted into my brain. I can’t wait for you guys to see it holy shit

Neal Cabanos

I resent the fact that I didn't value Shikamaru as much when I was a kid. Dude's way too woke for his age

Alex cleveland

This arc is def in the top 20, if not even higher of the best arcs of all time in anime... No cap don't @ me🔥🔥🔥

Joelle

the writers really messed up with sakura, as a girl I have always been rooting for her and she is my fave character till this day (i was 12 back when i watched this im 23 now), but not bcs she’s written well, but bcs she deserves the world 🤷🏻‍♀️ She’s a main character and the writers don’t treat her that way at all, like you said her dialogue is mainly just saying other people’s name, honestly none of the girls are written well, imagine how tired we are

DANIEL PEEDAH
>>28426140

when one piece has better female chatacters ahahah, as an anime addict i have to agree, but shes not the only character naruto fumbled in the second half, kind of a GoT feeling to the ending

Anonymous

Rock lee, gaara, neji , shikamaru >>> class 1A

MojoJojoGojo

The arc yall been waiting for

blickvic

yes i agree, lee is gonna take some time to heal

Freddupe

I love Shikaku, can’t wait till he gets more screentime in pt 2

blickvic

also, welcome to the shikamaru spirit animal clan. i knew you guys would like him haha, it was fun seeing you guys hate him at the beginning lol, i was like "just you wait you'll like him too" and here we are XD

olof

Sakura part 1 is garbage...it does get better though.

Rhai

I strongly agree. Shikamaru is the maan! I really like the fact that he's blunt about not liking Sasuke because... same.

raesh

Yes finally.. Shikamaru gets to shine... Gambare!! Genin 5

Rain

To be fair sakura really was useless up to this point 😂😂 she'll come around 😂😂

Zee

Hindsight being 20/20, Ino would’ve made a logical member

Zee

👀👀 at the guessing the matchups

Zee

They’re gonna need a bigger table soon

Ji-pi Doyon

THe second best arc after the Chunnin exam...great team, great challenge to overcome...great emotional weigh to that whole arc !

Zee
>>28425789

Fam.. you are aware this is a spoiler. Like are you confused to the whole point of this ?

Manu

arghhh!!!!! I can't wait until they get to the last few episodes . December, hurry up so they can get their wigs and headbands snatched from greatness!!

Resident stan

Y'all really aren't even remotely ready for these next few episodes

Zee

Shikamaru is really the unsung character of the 3 series.

Rah Sheen

It’s crazy to think that this episode is one of the most pivotal episodes in all of the Naruto series, including Shippuden

Brian Gerald Ford

This is my least favorite Sakura moment when she just cries and begs at Naruto to bring Sasuke back. It is really annoying. But she does get leagues better in Shippuden.

Maxime Goettelmann
>>28427948

Not sure she would have been mature enough to handle the Sound ninjas in a Sasuke rescue mission at that time. After a certain event, yes. But then ? hmm not sure

Kanan Jarrus

This is one of the best squad formations in the series. It’s so freaking cool.

Zee
>>28429244

Yeah, it’s literally the start of a different world in a way

Shervell Jones

This is what we’ve been waiting on! If this was Marvel, this Arc is Civil War.

Anonymous

All your videos are blocked? Can you post the youtube or vimeo Links.

CACTUSJEET

Are they gonna watch all of naruto?

Davimison Garmo

Normies still fail to realize Sakura gets ripped on indefinitely lol. Your criticism is justified.

Ginzo

This is one of the best arcs in Naruto. Shippuden included.

NateRiver

Feeling bad for Sakura just turns into not liking her at all

Rahsaan

I'm pretty sure Ten Ten is the only character (by the end) that I wanted to see more from.

Tom

This is the arc where the boys become men

Lawliet

I loved your choreography for the ending lmao, great episode obviously!

Jordan Penton

For perspective this is the longest arc in the naruto show part 1

Ghost_Troupe

I think it's funny how much Naruto fans hate Sakura. Especially considering how Sakura is based on Kishimoto's wife lol. People also don't understand Sakura's story at all which actually makes sense once Shippuden comes around. Her whole character arc is about her trying to find something that sets her apart from Naruto and Sasuke, if she were to just be another "badass" that wouldn't exactly set her apart. She's also suppose to be incredibly average, which makes her desire to be unique among naruto and Sasuke even more apparent.

Idunn Pil Søndergaard
>>28434025

Her problem just seems to be that she can never really stand out too much in any area(and I don't mean just in skill, i mean in emotions and mannerism as well) because then she ends up encroaching on some other characters territory. Like with how her relationship with Sasuke in this instance can't be too important or take up too much space in this story arc, because then she is encroaching on Narutos territory as a character. It feels a bit like she is supposed to be the emotionel core of the situation, the one who makes us realise what is at stake, butwe all know the real important relationship in this story is between Naruto and Sasuke, so it ends up being less impactfull, and making it hard to actually sympathise with Sakura.

Anonymous

Hey guys! This is actually one of the most pivotal arcs in the entire series, so enjoy! ALSO TO NOTE! Please take note of the Opening from time to time! THE INTRO CHANGES AS THE ARC GOES ON!

Jason Rodriguez

This arc then we finally get the goooooood shit of shippuden

Anonymous

Shikamaru goat confirmed

JP

Just so you know, the Sound Ninja 4 are like, only 2-3 years older than the genin protagonists.

Doffy

anko tsunade temari kurenai

Anonymous

This arc's pacing is kinda bad but it's still great to watch

Anonymous

You'll truly see why this anime is so beloved with this arc. One of the greatest arcs in any show EVER.

Jose

Ten ten is literally the strongest character 💅they should have took her.

John

Lol the sakura stuff is so unwarranted y'all just don't understand and dont understand the creator of the series I won't tell why but meh

Valkyro

i dont know if you guys wanna be bothered with this but for this arc i would recommend quickly muting the episode when they read the episode titles because they can be kinda spoilery! some of the episodes dont actually read the titles aloud but some of them do so yeah

DaphneQueen

I totally agree with you guys about Sakura. It’s almost like so far in the series they didn’t know how to write for females and just made them pretty lame, but oh well. Great reaction! Also Surj and Mickey dancing to the outro gave me life!! 👍🏾

Eric Seitz

One of the greatest anime arcs I’ve ever seen. These next few months are gonna b nothing but nonstop dope reactions and one hell of a trip through memory lane

llB0JANGLESll

you should do 100 episodes a week. Less then that and I'm terminating my account. :P jk

Ez

They changed the art and animation for this arc. Definitely a lot more polished

Cinthia Fernandez

YALL if you get Ramen please post pics so we can see !!

John FD Lobrano
>>28440931

Dude. I'm sorry. You can protest all you want, but at the end of the day, Sakura is the worst written character in the whole series. You can like her if you want, but she's easily the least effective female character of the shoenan genre. Second only to Orihime from Bleach. Even Kishimoto admitted that he really didn't like Sakura. And that the only reason he even made her, was because of his editorial staff demanded a "girl" on the three-man team. That's it. She was a literal afterthought.

SeymourAsces

Are you guys planning on watching kakashi gaiden after part 1?

Rain

I'll be forever bummed that you don't like this intro :( I mean fighting dreamers is LIT for sure but this one captures the seriousness and emotional impact of the arc... lol

Anonymous

Cannot wait till yall on shippuden!!

botanbutton

Sasuke retrieval arc is my business. Those days as a 14-15-year-old were lit.

Anonymous

Are y’all watching shippuden

Space Mechanic

Glad you guys are Team Shikamaru 🤝 remember when you weren’t? Fun times 😂

Xpotion

It's getting real good now :D!

KaizerAnt

Nothing you guys said about Sakura was wrong what so ever.

Rushdhan Ibrahim

What was the music at the end of the video guys? That was so good!

Jereco

Good to see Suraj and Chris recognizing Shikamaru is best character! Shikamaru, Kakashi, Lee and two characters that haven't appeared yet are my top five. Not going to name the other two just in case it counts as spoilers, but they show up in the first major Shippuden arc. Guy, Jiraiya, Orochimaru, Itachi, and Zabuza probably round out my top ten. Can't wait for the next triple drop though. This arc is dope!

Miasimon

I dunno about "Salsa Que".. doesn't really roll off the tongue. Though it's probably more PC than what I say: "Socks-gay".

Brownhokage
>>28446584

there is important information in kakashi gaiden that they will need to watch before they start shippduen

Anonymous

Shikamaru is great, but on the end of the arc I believe you will love every each one of them. Each will get his touching moment.

Anonymous

Its hard to watch now but Sakura will have her day......

Michael Diaz

Salsa Que? Funny. Did you know Sasuke backwards is pronounced Egg Sauce?

Igor Alfa

Hey guys, I'm having problens to watch all Naruto & HxH reactions using my computer because everytime I click in the video it just turn blank. I saw a few other comments regarding the same issue. I bet there must be a compatibility problem between Patreon and vimeo (problably, because Youtube videos seems to work just fine ). However, I tried to use the Patreon app in my Iphone and it worked normaly. Do you guys have any clue about what can I do to solve this issue in order to watch things on my PC normaly?

Edo

I LOVE Nahid's enthusiasm in this ep. They're all pretty excited but Nahid exemplifies that boyish childish happiness of watching this show for the first time. Never lose that part of yourself Nahid. Sincerely, the Third Hokage.

Liam D

The best arc in part 1 and one of the best in the entire series! Can't wait!

Mohamed Aimal

Lol remember when they did not like shikamaru

Anonymous

Unfortunately, Kishimoto has never been great at writing good main female characters. Tsunade and Temari are really the only females that are decently written.

Anonymous

Still, I'm really tired (not just of the Sakura bashing) but of the narrative that females only have value when they are badass fighters. Like, as a women myself, I get appreciation for the whole "Strong Independent" female characters, but at the same time they AREN'T the only type of characteristics that a female should be allowed to have to be deemed "not pathetic". I don't know why despite in 2019 and how woke ppl intend on being that traditionally femine traits are despised so much. There's nothing wrong with a woman who good at showing love and showing compassion and sensitivity. It's just like the whole Cinderalla thing where people hated on Cinerella because she didn't punch a guy in the nose like Anna or refused to get married like the chick in Brave. Femine traits are hated so much now it's like Women aren't respected unless they act like traditional men. God forbid a 12 year old girl cries and shows compassion for a guy she likes otherwise she's so patheric and have no love for hserself. Just wow. I suggest Chris watch that youtube video: Cinderella - stop blaming the victim and he may get some insite into what I am saying.

Jenna Kochanski
>>28475748

Mostly agree, but I still feel like it’d help a ton if Kishimoto wasn’t shit at writing most if not all the female characters on this show.

Anonymous

Stop reading or listening to the episodes title from now on because you will be spoiled so hard

João Rodrigo

I find it very interesting how everyone keep saying "Sakura should have more self-respect, she's pathetic, she should say fuck that guy" and all but NO ONE questions the fact that Naruto has the exact same motivation and it's seen as a hero because he wanna save his friend after being betrayed, abandoned and a lot of other shit along the way. Yeah, Kishimoto doesn't know how to write women at all. But most of the flaws of the men are written almost in the same way and nobody says anything. Funny huh

Narutofreak94

Here we gooooo, you guys are in for a riiide

Fawzi Alomari
>>28490850

I think its more to do with the fact that naruto is capable of doing something to stop sasuke, all sakura did was cry

Edo
>>28481744

YESSS I AM SOOOO AFRAID of them spoiling one of hte biggest page turner surprises of this arc....i dont wanna say too much but its when um....u know....something pops up to be like NOW ITS ON!! oh god i dont wanan say more but its literally in the next ep's title (after the moment it happens) and im sooooo hoping they dont read hte titles themselves!!! GOD NORMIES GET SOMEONE ELSE TO PLaY THE EPS FOR U FOR THIS ARC I BEG U!!! THE TITLES SPOIL SOME RLY GOOD REVEALS!!!!!! ok im clearly too hyped for a friday morning reply.

Jonathan Walquist

This episode always reminds me of the last episode of shippuden! Pay attention to Naruto's promise, normies. It is very very important.

Logan

Hey Suraj, I think you guys should call yourselves the Chunin Five because after all the Chunin Exams are done & Shikamaru is a chunin. If you're waiting for Naruto to get promoted... well, that's your perogative

eliphass

let's be real the only reason shino isn't in the squad is because of how op he is

Cynthia Huynh

Shikamaru has always been my favorite male character along with sakura as my favorite female. Shino not joining them is because he’s OP af! He wouldn’t have much difficulty fighting one on one with the sound ninjas tbh

HIM

Shikamaru gang, STAND UP!
