Don't apologise for making theories and guesses! Best thing about the first watch is how much the show hooks you by throwing you crumbs. you are left to own imagination trying to piece it all together. Yes the show does answer a lot as time passes, but it's always fun to see everyone's theories on all the moving pieces at play

Make all the guesses you feel like guessing Tom, it helps to get through all the complicated plot points and details that operate in their own fictional narrative. Most of us have seen the episodes a dozen times each, and/or read the manga chapters several times to get all the convoluted wrinkles ironed out of any confusion we ever had. Hopefully the community explains things in a way that clears up any confusion without spoiling things. The show itself revisits things when necessary and every single piece of the puzzle will fit into a cohesive story with incredibly emotional and exciting drama. Everything will make sense and you will have a lot to say about the psychological interplay and trauma of our beloved characters, we will all need therapy afterwards, but for us in a good way. The absolute best is yet to come.

I know I'm late to the party, but I don't know if anyone has given a proper explanation to this yet: When an episode ends and it shows "To be continued", that simply means the story for this episode is over, and it continues in the next episode. In the context of anime, a lot of people use the terms "intro" and "outro" interchangeably with "opening" and "closing", which are the opening/intro and closing/outro songs that play. Most of the time, anime will not have story scenes taking place before the opening, or after the closing, with the exception of recaps (which just give a reminder of what happened in past episodes) and "previews", which show scenes from the following episode. At 1:44 in this reaction video, we see a big "preview" sign. This just means it is about to show the preview scene. ALWAYS skip the preview scenes because they simply show what is coming in the next episode. The good news is, preview scenes are very short and almost always play at the very last seconds of the episode in most anime. They are easy to spot. On rare occasions, there will be an actual teaser type scene after or during the closing song that is not a preview. Those typically should be watched. --------- I highly recommend watching the opening and closing songs for each season at least once, and also watch them on the last episode of each season.
