yay! got these two episodes, then prep for livestreams!

Aang and Appa’s sorrow and loss made me break down in grief for the loss of my family’s dog many months ago. He was my ‘appa’, and i miss him greatly

Pikawarps

56:55 this is the first thing Bamboo hat ever says anything, that’s why Ang’s crew’s jaws dropped

CarbonKatana

appa's lost days never fails to make me cry

NotAlex

Just a heads up, the last episode in season 2 will be longer than normal

Appa’s lost days,, the anger i feel when i think about how poorly animals are treated in this world as well

Otherworlds

I love how this uploads after yoga class and usually the toughest day of the week… it’s like a little treat ❤️

blorbothefrog

that confrontation between zuko and iroh in 'lake laogai' is one of my favourite scenes in the entire show. i love how much their character arcs have built to that point and the pay off from it is so good

KC

1) Aang is from the southern temple; Appa is from the eastern one. Aang & Appa met at the eastern temple. 2) You’re correct: Jet died.

Appas lost days is so hard for me to watch 😭 I always have to skip to when Suki finds him bc everything before then is just too sad

Reaction Therapy

Yes! I love to see iroh get tough because he has so much wisdom😊

KC

I find it interesting that Jet had so much hatred towards the fire nation, but he was killed by an earth kingdom tyrant.

An interesting detail that is easy to miss: in every scene we see from Momo's point of view all speech is heard as gibberish, but in every scene we see from Appa's point of view all speech is normal which suggests that Appa actually understands spoken language. Rewatching the show with that in mind really gives even more depth to Appa and just makes me love him even more.

Gunnar

The printer was actually invented in the mid 1400s, so it's very realistic for Ba Sing Se to have a decent one in the 1800s where avatar seems to be set.

o7 Jet Spent his whole adolescent life fighting the Fire Nation, only to be killed by the Earth Kingdom

they didnt find a printer as in the machine. they found a "Printer" someone who prints. with wood blocks and ink. its actually a facinating progress and I urge you to look up some youtube videos on what these very talented people can do.
