The END of the Breaking Bad Universe!

Jack McCormick

So sad that this whole BB/BCS reaction series is ending. I’m gonna have to take my time with these last few episodes.

Warius

The greatest conman, lawyer, and crook in America, survives Gus Fring, Lalo Salamanca, and Heisenberg, and gets taken down by Carol Burnett with a Life Alert.

Anthony McPartlan

Haven't watched any of the last three yet. But been a pleasure to be on the BB/BCS journey with you. Thoroughly enjoyed. All the best with whatever you react to next Tom

Warius

Jimmy proved that he was an excellent lawyer, that he could get away with it. He wanted them all to see that he won, he beat them, he's the best lawyer in the world, he probably would have only served a few years. But that was just to show that he COULD. He didn't want to run anymore, he knew he was done, and coming clean to everyone (Kim, especially) is him moonwalking into jail on his own terms.

Eduardo

I didn’t notice before, but Jimmy fits in perfectly with the guys in jail. In the bus they were showing him a lot of love. He immediately got a job in the kitchen which is a pretty nice job to have because no one messes with the cooks. This end was better the second time around. W reaction as always it was fun ride

penguinseizure9

its been 476 days since you started watching Breaking Bad. what a journey!!

Warius

FML, felt like it's just been a few months

CampEvolution

What amazing storytelling and world building in an amazing universe! Sad it’s all over again but happy it exists 🥲

Arthur Mitchell

If you didn’t catch it it’s called “Saul Gone” because Jimmy McGill came back

T.M.

He's trying to protect Kim.

Mikkel Olsson

Saul wasnt trying to win when he got a longer sentence. He finally decided to take responsibility for his actions and stop being slipping Jimmy

CampEvolution

I’d have to say my favorite original character from BCS was Nacho. Lalo, Kim, and Howard are all a close tie for second.

Adrian

Annnnnnnd we are done peak television. Man I joined late to watching but binged a lot and had to wait for weekly episode drops/wait time between seasons. The way this show was a second thought and they weaved it so well into the previous show was amazing. Thanks everyone for keeping it spoiler free and enjoying another watch with the GOAT Tom!

Caitlyn

Jimmy would rather be in prison 86 years as Jimmy McGill than to be in prison 7 years as Saul Goodman. He broke free from being Saul. Hints the name “Saul Gone”. He finally owned up to everything he had done and faced the music. He was proving to himself, Kim, and to Chuck that he can and did change. Even if he has to spend the rest of his life in prison because of it. Also the end is showing that even after everything, there is and will always be love between Kim and Jimmy.

bertt

for me, the only show that has come close to BCS/Breaking bad, would be Dexter and Prison break

Hyperion

Walt was lying about his regret. @40:00, when saul and walt are discussing their regrets, walt was not ousted from the Gray Matter company. Vince Gilligan (the director) revealed in interviews that walt fell in love with gretchen during their work. But when they brought in Elliot, gretchen and elliot started dating. Walt got jealous and resentful of the situation. Elliot proved to be just as smart as walt, but walt wouldnt stand to not be top dog of the company so he sold his share and went from studying Xray Crystallography to teaching High School chemistry to ungrateful teenagers. Then Breaking Bad happens. Walt refuses to admit to his true regret because it would make him look weak to saul, and he does not want to face reality himself

Avery

Thank you for these incredible reactions to an incredible show. I've never looked forward to Monday more than in these past couple of months.

Hyperion

Kim is an analog for jimmy's conscience. If kimmy approves of his actions, then jimmy can sleep with a clear conscience

Avery

Best episode of the entire series, hands down. Just beautiful film

CadeBW

The ability to change is really the overarching theme of this entire show. It's symbolized in "The Time Machine," and it's symbolized in Mike's comments about the "bad choice road." Throughout the series, we are challenged to consider whether change is really possible; Chuck didn't really that his brother could change, but the brilliantly titled "Saul Gone" proved Jimmy could.

Avery

HE COULDN"T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT ME!

Torin Grasley

The ticking watch that Walter looked at when thinking about his regrets was the watch that Jesse bought him for his birthday in Breaking Bad.

Patrik Cichovsky

Great reaction series both BCS and BrBa, you should try the new show Pluribus, Rhea Seahorn who plays Kim is playing main character in that show and Vince is the director. Its something completely different compared to Bcs but it is so good. Disconnected from the breaking bad universe. You should try it

Patrik Cichovsky

oh I finished the video and realised that you mentioned Pluribus my bad 😁

MoniLove

Such an awesome ending to this incredible story. Vince Gilligan has a lot of love for Carol Burnett, so awesome that it was her character that brought the whole thing down.

Harry

I wish they would do Holly white teaming up with Kaylee erhmentraut 20 years in the future as they dig up their pasts they enter the game

Steven Quinn

so disappointing, i wanted his "showtime" to get him an even lower sentence upsetting everyone with another win.

Reaction Therapy

Thank you Anthony, appreciate you being here all this time🙏

Reaction Therapy

Thank you Adrian! As always, I appreciate your support, comments, and friendship 🙏

Jesse James

I don't know if I'd love that or hate it.

Jesse James

Sorta, he did mention "good behavior"

Avery

i think in the court room scene you see Jimmy look back at Kim after he was done putting on his performance and saw she still had that cold disappointed look on her face. Then he asked the judge to speak one more thing and spoke about his honest feelings and then after he was done he looked back and saw a more proud look. I think he threw away his deal to maybe prove to her he’s finally ready to accept responsibility.

Tatyana Zinger

Fun fact: when Walter asks, “Regrets?” And looks at his ticking watch and pauses, it’s because his first thought — his true regret — has to do with Jesse, since Jesse gave him that watch. But he doesn’t want to be vulnerable either and say this true reason, so then he goes into Grey Matter.

LSTER

Pfft I hate this finale, why would he talk himself into dying in prison? Just utterly ridiculous

Jay

In the end, Jimmy proved Charles wrong and was capable of change. Even when the alternative was life in prison, he was still able to pull one last trick and gave up at the finish line. What a show!🥂

Warius

alright man

Jacob Hull

Best fucking show I’ve ever seen. I’m literally tearing up by how beautiful this entire universe was and I can’t believe it’s over, but every story needs to end, but I never thought it would end with Saul.

David Guerrero

Tom thank you for this, it made me feel like I was watching the show for the first time. Very bittersweet. Also, Frings lab was destroyed by Jesse and Walt if I remember correctly. Ads more loss to Howard since he was buried there. Patrick Fabian the actor that plays Howard uploaded a selfie with Lalo hiking together on Instagram just the other day.

boo boo keys

One of the best shows ever, he sort of redeemed himself in the end by taking the prison time, I think he knows he deserves it.

Gideon

The Breaking Bad franchise has always been absolute peak television for me, and watching along with you is the closest I've felt to experiencing it all for the first time again. Thank you, Tom, for always making my Mondays great! I can’t believe it’s really over 😢

Jack McCormick

There have been some videos uploaded to YouTube recently under the channel Saul4Democracy with Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks. Watch them if you want a little more Saul Goodman shenanigans.

Mark G

I had to wait 24 hrs before facing the inevitable... the last episode 😢. Even after multiple watches I never get tired of watching someone experience the BB/BCS universe for the first time 😁. I've Really enjoyed being along for the ride!! 😊

Reaction Therapy

Thank you Avery, appreciate you being here with me for the journey🙏

Tomas Martishius

Season 5 and 6 won me over, BCS is above BB for me now

Tomas Martishius

Additions of Kim, Nacho and Lalo to this universe made this series unforgetable

hbk314

This was just after Hank's death, too, and he still went all the way back to Gray Matter.

hbk314

The final flashback with Chuck is the day before "Uno," the pilot episode. In the flashback he says he might have the Financial Times the next day, and he has it and says "I know you missed it" in the pilot. Perhaps if he'd taken Chuck up on his offer to talk, the entire Breaking Bad universe doesn't happen.

Daniel S

Hes 40+ even with “good behaviour” he would be long gone before ever stepping foot outside a jail. He said that as a joke

999

It was because he always ran away from his problems and never faced them, that day he finally faced them and showed Kim that he could change. It’s pure cinema if you really look at it

Edward

Gonna miss this !!

bryan

Finally got around to watching this. I've been subscribed since Breaking Bad and I don't regret it one bit. I've really grown to like you as a person, and not just some guy who happens to be watching one of my favorite shows, as it happens sometimes when you watch so many people react to movies and shows. You're incredibly perceptive and intelligent. There have been so many times where I am just astounded at how quickly you pick up on things and predict as a first time viewer. I've also taken away a lot of good nuggets of wisdom and therapy from you throughout all these reactions . Thank you, Tom. (and Nick for all the work behind the scenes!)

SoundcloudAngel 😇

just finished this fully cause I procrastinate a lot but thanks for the reactions 🫶 I loved the BB/BCS universe so much.

Jack

Regardless of whether or not that was the right move for him to make, I hate how he just used Bill. Bill was never in the game and never once wronged him. Kim was part of the game and knew the risks. He hurt Bill to get her off.

Monica W

This is the only series that brought me to tears when it ended. Everything about this was perfection. 10 out of 10.👌

Fender Fox

So Tom, what was your favorite from both shows BCS Or BB? I've been waiting to ask since the beginning.

Fender Fox

Sorry Ididn't watch till the end 😆 better call saul is probably my favorite as well, Bob played saul so well in BB But seeing him turn from Jimmy to saul and his back story was amazing, Brian playing Walter White was also amazing, as well as every other character!! Such a great show and series, so glad you have went thru this journey with you.

James

It shows Chuck was wrong and he can change to be a good man
