Dexter has obviously had sexual relationships before, but this was the first time I genuinely saw real lust....or, as he put it, undeniable chemistry. It felt completely different from what he had with Rita or even Lumen. Those relationships had connection and purpose, as much as he was capable of anyway... but this was something else entirely, almost magnetic. There was an urgency between them that I'd never seen from Dexter before.

Longish comment. MCH played an uptight gay funeral director in Six Feet Under just previous to playing Dexter. To become Dexter they had to make him look as little like David Fisher as possible. David had neatly trimmed hair. So, Dexter had longish tousled hair until season 6. His hair was still just growing back after his chemotherapy. It originally grew back curly. It has gotten straighter but I think MCH just said forget it growing long again. Dexter is older now

Tom, I worked for 10 yrs in the evidence department and I can tell you we have no cameras where our evidence fridges are and only one or 2 in our evidence warehouse. Anyone working there could steal evidence if we were stupid enough. So similar to Dexters evidence room. We had cameras leading in and out of the place and everywhere is heavily restricted access. So anything taken, cannot be from an outside source. Would have to be an inside job. If something was missing though, it would be assumed to be misplaced. In the 10 yrs in that job, some things were considered missing but all were eventually found in wrong locations. I think we lost 1 item in all that time out of hundreds of thousands of items. I thought it odd as well, there were very few cameras when i first got there but access is so restricted, hardly anyone can get in there and its all recorded who enters and leaves. The number of people with access would be no more than 15 people. And to conitnue with this subject of Quinn stealing evidence, it wouldnt really help in most cases. It would have to disappear at the crime scene, after that, it is recorded on the database, swabbed and then given to us to store and manage. So losing the swab, you still have the original item and losing the item, you have the swab evidence. And the database cant be edited without it being recorded.

Finn's girlfriend-choosing abilityi is as poor as Deb's at this point. Just like her, he seems to be looking for love with whoever shows an interest. She had the ice truck killer, he had Trinity's daughter...go figure 🤷‍♀️

Though I enjoyed this season, there are some questionable things that happen. But it seemed to me that the more Dexter saw himself as a person capable of more than what Harry told him he could be, the messier his life became and the less tidier of a killer he became.

For me i reckon quin got involved with Nadia cos she stopped being just another victim to him. He got to know her, saw the person behind everything she was going through, and I don't think a real man could just walk away after that, isnt that just sefish and cowardly? Once someone becomes real to you, your conscience won't let you forget them. Nadia being sweet and hot is a bonus, but I don't think that's why he helped her. I think he helped because he got to know her, knew what she was trapped in, and did the honourable thing for a damsell in distress

I never liked the Hannah x Dexter relationship. It felt incredibly forced. I'm convinced the only people who like their dynamic only like it because the actress for Hannah is very attractive.
