Unpopular opinion...I kind of get where Hannah's coming from with her dad. Even when a parent has been objectively awful, they're still your parent. It's hard to just switch that bond off. Parents have a weird hold over their kids that doesn't magically disappear because they don't deserve it... or is that just me? 😂

Your parents birthed you but that doesn't necessarily mean they deserve you. There's a saying online "every child deserves a parent but not every parent deserves a child". I can tell you that I don't feel really "connected" to either of my parents. When they die I imagine I'll be very sad, and also very frustrated, since my parents are very stubborn, and I think they'll both die that way. It'd be nice to know more about them, how they were before they let the pain take them. I know this is deep and it's what people shy away from, I try to be real.

I don't think you realized what a revelation Dexter had when he was holding the knife over the Phantom. He said "you can't blame what you do on something that happened to you as a child. Time to take responsiblity". and then Dexter realized he could be talking about himself!

Yeah, for a therapist I don't really understand why he found her behavior around her dad strange. We get hints about the kind of father is, plus we know Hannah ran away from home at age 15 with her murderous boy friend, she was probably trying to escape her father

I think Hannah emotionally regressed back to a little girl around her dad, she had her wall up at first but he got into her head the way abusers and users love to do and convinced her he was finally the father she always needed, he made her feel safe just to abuse her further 💔 that greenhouse would have destroyed me, as I have a tendency to apply human emotions to inanimate objects, especially living ones that so much time and energy went into nurturing 😭

Hannah is not a good person worse then her father she killed innocent people deserve to be in jail I wouldn't take her side in anything
