FREE Nightscaper Photo Conference WORKSHOP (Patreon)

Yep, I'm giving a free workshop at this year's 2024 Nightscaper Photo Conference (September 26-29), held in Kanab, Utah USA! This will be the 4th Nightscaper conference, and the 3rd time at this remote, dark sky location.

A little background: I started this conference in 2019, and it was held in Moab, UT. Our 2nd conference was held in 2021, in Kanab. Later that year, in order to spend more time on my own photography, lectures and book projects, I sold the conference and the domain name to the great guys at National Parks at Night. In 2023, they ran the 3rd conference, also in Kanab. 

In addition to the conference, some of the speakers also run workshops in the evening, or on days leading up to the workshop. Although associated with the conference, the workshops are an additional fee (up to $500 a night), separate from the conference.

My FREE workshop: As a conference speaker, I will also be doing an evening workshop; however, mine is free! So, how do you get to attend my free one-night workshop?

• Register for the 2024 Nightscaper Conference as soon as possible. If you register by March 31, 2024 you will get $200 off your conference ticket (use the coupon code, "EarlyBird")! When you register, mention my name (there is a drop-down menu, where you can select my name).
• The first six (6) people who register for the conference under my name will get to attend my workshop for free (I'm limiting this workshop to only 6 attendees). I will allow put 6 additional names on my wait list, in case some drop out due to scheduling conflicts, and etc.

Where will we go? Once the six workshop attendees have registered, I will contact them by email and let them (you) pick one of four dates they would like to attend the workshop. I will also ask them which one of five different location choices in the Kanab area they'd like for our workshop venue (the above photo is of the Toroweap area, where the Colorado River is 3,000 feet straight down from the top of the Grand Canyon). In other words, the date and location with the most votes will be our workshop date and venue.

My Patreon supporters are getting the "first shot" at this free workshop. I won't announce it to the general public until Monday, March 4th.

Full disclosure: I'm NOT getting extra money from the conference for promoting the conference or my workshop (I made my money when I sold the conference three years ago). This is just my "pay it forward" gift to the nightscape community.
