Content

A youtuber made a video on Chris, being critical of his past. He didn't really wanna get into it, but then went off!

Also, apologies for the late post. Had some issues dealing with the video footage, but it's been salvaged in a weird format.

Im conservative (ya ya i know) but ive always respected your guys opinions on things because i know what you say is well thought out and has both good sense and reason behind it. there have been many times where hearing your thoughts on a matter either changed my mind on something, or made me realize that other conservatives had tricked me into thinking i cared about something that i actually never did.

Seth

George Carlin 100% would lean conservative in 2024. To say he would be a retarded modern "liberal" is a joke.

they got to my question late but CJ being modded in was day 1 of the EARLY ACCESS. i wonder if we're going to get to a point where people still mod CJ but don't know who he is

I agree with the Christmas point as well, was going to mention it too but wanted to keep my question short. I think that at least where I live Halloween has been going the way of Christmas and it’s starting to get annoying

Oh id say that the preservation of culture and traditions (the good ones of course) is important, and that losing those things is why so many people feel alone and have feel no community identity outside which corporations they both like giving money to like disney. And id say mass immigration whether legal or not when a 2 bedroom house already costs 800k is unwise at best. I could add more but this is getting long, but those are a couple that came to mind.

See now, neither of those seem like unreasonable concerns to me. Perhaps we would differ on a solution, but that’s alright. To me, it feels like we (US) need a lot more regulation to make life more tolerable, rather than wringing regular people dry so billionaires can have all the money. Definitely de-commoditize housing. Thanks for the response. I’m just more interested in what people think about actual issues, rather than being misunderstood based on a label that someone else may interpret differently.

No that makes sense. If you want to know all the terrible stuff i actually used to be extremely racist and ideological when i was younger, highschool and early college. Everyone who didnt think the same way as me or look like me was clearly the enemy. I put people in boxes all the time. I was the "libtards this libtards that" person who watched the quartering and Louder with crowder unironically and believed everything they said. Took a looong time looking inward to separate myself from that way of thinking and that crowd. And a couple liberal friends and people like chris ultimately had a big hand in altering my perception.

Seth

What I see when I see "Liberal" is people who care little about anything besides Trans "rights" and supporting Big Pharma, Big AG, Military Industrial Complex ECT. Chris, Sween and Derrick all are like this. During Covid they would not shup up about how stupid people are for simply being concerned about forced inoculations of experimental drugs. If I did not take the vaccine I would have been FIRED. Fuck them for that. The Covid Vaccine was the most profitable single product ever created. Just a couple weeks ago Derrick went on a rant about how stupid RFK JR is because a statistic he had mentioned may not have been 100% correct. So because RFK stated a less than 100% true statistic (Which guess what, no statistic is actually perfect and everybody is liars). Everything said about food coloring, seed oils, extremely overproduced foods ECT are invalid, and we need to support Big Agriculture. Its retarded brainrot and everyone needs to get the fuck off of mainstream culture in general.

🤣 omfg you’re a real person? I was gonna respond to the Carlin stuff saying you’re incredibly incorrect thinking that the anti-theist, pro abortion, anti-flag wavers/ass kisser (there’s plenty more) guy would be a conservative. That’s just a fucking laughable statement, but then reading your rant here… OOF. You’re just in your own reality and screaming at a podcast group you’re choosing to pay money to (?) about how angry you are at them for having opinions you disagree with. I bet they TOTALLY care about how angee you are as they count the $$$ that you give them. Get a therapist.

Seth

I really do like Derrick, Sweeny and Chris. And this podcast is awesome. I reread my post and I didn't mean the "Fuck them for that" directed at them. That was to the current liberal arbiters (MSM, Hollywood, Social media policies ECT.) as they act completely antithetical to what the word liberal means. I do love this podcast, and I like all 3 of them. That being said I disagree with them and Conservatives are the new Liberals. The modern Liberal party is the party that supports 95% of what Carlin has always HATED. He hated flag wavers because (like modern liberals) they blindly followed the orders of Big Govt. He hated Big Corpo (which liberals seem to love now for some reason), He hated the Military industrial complex (Which liberals now love for some reason). He hated big church because it squandered art and created wars. These are all of the things that MAGA people are wanting to see stopped. Other than church as big religion in America died right around the time Carlin did.

It’s so crazy to be a fan of this podcast and these people and think this way bro you give them money to comment this that’s crazy 😭😭

Seth

Why is that crazy? The only reason I said anything is because they are going kind of hard into politics lately because its election season. Some of the people I love the most are Liberal. They are misguided, it is what it is. Chris and Derrick are amazing musicians and Vocalists. They are all very funny people with great chemistry. As a conservative person we have gotten used to having to actually listen to liberal worldview as 95% of all highly successful Actors/Muscians/Artists ECT are systematically told to either support DEMOCRATS or they will actively work to make your career not exist. So 95% of all media is liberal skewed. One example is Rotten Tomatoes - Hanna Gadsby 100% certified fresh on RT. Dave Chappelle (Possibly the greatest comedian of all time) comeback special 40% Rotten on RT. It's systematic oppression of anything that even slightly leans conservative in any way.

First I genuinely appreciate you sharing your opinion here. As a left leaning person it's interesting to hear another person's perspective even if I don't generally agree with it. So I wanna ask out of curiosity do you think artist generally lean left because that's sort of a common symptom of being an artist or is it more because they wish to be accepted in a system that's mostly left leaning.

Seth

Hello, yeah, I almost regret even voicing my opinion today after hearing Trump say, "I will get the Jew Haters out of the country" (Attack on Freedom of Speech) LOL. Personally, I do think it's a mix of things. I studied music in college and two of my professors were very left wing and very vocal about their opinions but also very likeable and good people (This was late 2000's early 10's). I was pretty liberal at this time myself as it all made sense. I have never had a right-wing teacher ever or anybody who ever really talked to me about right wing stuff. So my guess is people look up to them and learn from them and that spreads out from there. So that is 1 part, another part would be the systematic top-down pressure from the propaganda machine. Media has been consolidated thanks to Clinton removing protections and allowing monopoly in media starting in the 90's. So it's much much easier for a Democratic Lobby to get 5 (instead of 105) CEOs/Boards of Directors to agree to really focus on hiring actors or musicians or artists that support the bills/candidates that they want them to. They prop those people up and leave the others in the dust as they control most of the jobs. So the conservative musician 90% of the time ends up going and working in something else (I'm an Engineer now with a music focus degree) or they have to figure it out on social media platforms which are not very friendly to them either (but not as bad as big media). As someone who leans left why do you think artists lean left?

Gym broboy

Tbh I don't have a good answer I was more asking because i was more curious on your perspective. (Thanks for answering btw). It's just something thats been on my mind lately. My background is more in filmmaking (I'm 24 just finished college) and I live in the south so most of the people and artist I know are right leaning. So I was more generally confused by the concept of "most artist are left leaning" (not denying it just intrigued). Thanks for answering though it gave me a lot to think about.
