Last week we visited a local radio station for an interview about bisexuality! We had great fun talking in depth about bisexuality, representation, and doing YouTube. Enjoy!

There will be a winner! - But it won't be the bisexual character, doomed to affirm either Straightness™ or Gayness™ when the monogamous romance contest ends. Maybe that's why some of our guests' favourite media depictions of bisexuality are rooted in stories of failiure.

I feel like there's a joke here about bisexual and AM/FM but I can't find it

Really enjoyed this chat & appreciate all of your bisexual content in general at the moment as someone who only 6 months ago, at the tender age of 35, realised that I am in fact not a lesbian who “just occasionally” has crushes on non-binary people & men. It’s very bizarre to figure out my own sexuality all over again after thinking I had been there, done that!

It was a fun thing to listen through my ironing session ! :p Glad to see another piece of the Verity V Heartstopper lore coming into place. By the way, I think it is not a coincidence that you (and I, and I guess we all?) love stories of bisexual failures, and that the disaster bisexual is such a staple of bisexual online culture. It came to my mind as you were discussing bi representation, but then you moved to the bi stereotypes and it made even more sense. We shall see in the future if the clean bisexual is just a generational thing (gen Z v millennials?), an age thing (will current teens / young adults outgrow it?), or a corporate thing (Netflix PR you guys discussed). Looking forward to the future of bi rep(s)!

Did anyone catch the name of the 1988 bank robbery movie?

Thank you!

This was so much fun! And a really interesting point about the resolution of bisexual storylines. It all made me miss Verily Podcasty, hope you have time to do some more (potentially with guests?)!

Pretty awesome to see (or hear, I guess) such awesome creators on our great alter radio. Really insightful, and I am definitely gonna give Trinajstica a watch!
