Build an Arduino EEPROM programmer

In this video, we'll use an Arduino Nano to make programming EEPROMs (e.g., 28C16) much easier.

I like your idea using the Arduino programmer, but is there a way to program one EEPROM at a time? Like pass the address to both EEPROMs at the same time and maybe use something like the 74LS299 per EEPROM to R/W the 8 Bit Data lines? I am not sure about how to go about doing it, just know you would have to deal with the address lines first, then either do a read or write from the 74ls299. Heck if you wanted to R/W a third EEPROM if you got the first part of this working, it would not be hard to add a next EEPROM and so forth. Also if this works, I could see this would also be able to replace the hand toggling the dip switches to program the ram one switch at a time. { For me at least, means less errors and making mistakes }.

I noticed that the first time I connect the arduino the first address gets programmed with ff. When I upload and run the code again it programs it correctly. Not sure what the problem is but I just need to remember to program it twice. Hope this helps others.
