**UPDATE** Just got some incredible news!  We decided to do a joint presentation so both Karin and Brady will be joining for the story telling so all three of us will wow you with our witty banter and story telling :)

Location- Annapolis, Maryland.  See ticketing below for details.

When- Sunday, October 16th 5:30PM to 7:00PM

Cost- $10.00 

This will be a 90 minute presentation in which Brian, Karin, and Brady will recount all the disasters, crashes, fires, props falling off, and other silly things that happened during Delos's 77,000 NM lap around the planet.  Most of it happened before we started making videos, and there are some good ones in there. For example did you know that on my first night aboard Delos in Bellingham, WA a propane fire nearly destroyed Delos and burned off all my facial hair?  Stuff like that.  ha ha!  I think it will be a lot of fun.

Seating is limited to 200!  So PLEASE grab your ticket early as I think it will fill up. We're not going to announce to the public for a few days to give you all time to grab your tickets....  It would be absolutely amazing if this turned into another Patrons Only Event :)  Also, there will be a cash bar!  So please come for a chill evening.

Damn, wish I could make it! But it did remind me when we put our boat in the water in Bellingham (Dad forgot to tighten the lag bolts)....and the keel almost fell off. Bellingham is full of good times! See, you need to come back.

Dude here in Santa Barbara buys a Lancer 40' 3 days before Hurricane Kay makes it up here last week. He was planning on sailing around the world. HUGE swells started coming in around 3am. Poor thing dragged anchor and we saw it sideways on the beach on our morning dog walk. Next day, they crushed it up and tossed it in a roll-off like it was just a big pile of trash. The entire side had caved in. He did not even have the $150 insurance to clear it off the beach. He had zero insurance at all. Not sure what he paid for it. His friend said maybe it was best his weakly fiberglassed boat ran aground close to home and not on some deserted island 8,000 miles from anywhere.

Wish I could make it but I'll be in Portland, OR selling everything I own. Or at least some of it. I'll watch the livestream if I can. BTW, I have a friend that blew up his house with propane. Almost killed his wife and son. They climbed out the window right as it started to go. He laughs about it now. He works for the gas company. LOL

Oh man, so heartbreaking 😔 We've definitely all made mistakes or been in the wrong place at the wrong time that could have ended much differently than they did, I feel so hard for people in these situations. But yeah at least everyone was safe and close to home
